I had omelette verde with B&G. I loved the style and my waitress was the best. Sweet, attentive, with OJ. Respectable brotherhood at the bar and a hot rod out front. Killer vibe. It was so delicious! It's the kinda place you wanna know about. Especially if you are on death row. This breakfast is the best last supper, but I'm just some washed up socialite from the country chilling in modesto. #greasyspoon #bestofbreakfast #diner

Enjoyed a ham and cheese omelet. The servings are huge. Enough to share plates. The hash browns weren't to my liking. I like mine with a lot of browning and some crunchy. These were mostly white. I was pleased that they substituted fruit for the toast. Atmosphere is cute. Average price for a breakfast plate is about $12.

I'm very surprised at the 4-1/2 stars? Maybe because of the old time atmosphere? For me and my family we love a good breakfast!! We hardly ever go eat breakfast cause I can cook a good old breakfast! So on this rare occasion it was Soo disappointing to say the least. The food was warm & some just cold potatoes were not fresh, they were like sitting in one of those buffet pans made awhile ago and served. $50. Bucks for horrible food! Sorry maybe this sincere review will help them ☹️

I took my son for breakfast here for the last time. Which is sad, because their food is great. I have seen the staff here be rude way too many times. This last time though, topped it for me. The waitress comes to the tape right next to ours and says "can you pay your bill already, so that I can go home". The ladies mainly spoke Spanish, looked like 2 sisters and their elderly mother. Chatting and drinking coffee. To make it worse, this was the manager. So if the manager behaves like this, what would you expect from the rest of the staff. Not all the staff is like this, but the consensus here seems to be that it's okay to treat your customers like this. These ladies were at your restaurant for the first time, they said they loved your food, but they would not be coming back. Their server/waitress, your manager, was rude to them from when they first came in. I let my waitress know, before I knew this was the manager. After that it seemed all the servers were walking by their table smirking.

Had a great chicken taco salad and my husband had a huge club sandwich with excellent service and always clean. I started dining with them since they were down in the middle of 9th street as a little girl now I love to take my granddaughter here for good home town hospitality.... Food is fantastic! Everything went well until it was time to pay. The lady who rang me up got a phone call for a reservation order and made me wait after taking my money. She should have answered the phone and said "please hold" to continue to take care of the customer (me) who was standing in front of her. That's a big no-no in any customer service profession.
