Wendy's

I was wary to try this place because of negative reviews on Yelp, but decided to just try it anyways. Went drive-thru, and there were at least 3 cars in front of me, and I was at the ordering window within 2 mins! Staff was friendly and polite. Food was fresh and delicious. No complaints here! We ended up coming back a second time and it was just as good.

Wendy's changing their hours to late night is great. A long time the only option was taco bell or McDonald's in the south Minneapolis area. Now that McDonald's has changed their hours to close earlier, it's a perfect opportunity for wendy's to take the business from Mickey's garbage in a bun. I personally like Wendy's as they make the closest thing to a backyard homestyle burger. The fries I also prefer over the others. So if you get home from work late and want a normal dinner meal, without the hassle of cooking it yourself, I believe this is your best option. FYI, I am not a fan of fast food and it's a rarity that I will eat from a fastfood place unless I am absolutely am starving. The dining room is kind of on the dirty side, and they have a lot of staff on duty just chatting away but neglecting their cleaning.

If you can get over the sketchy area you will enjoy the really nice people that are taking your order and helping you out. It can't be easy running this location and the folks still manage to smile and be attentive and most of all FAST! Sucks about the location but there is not much you can do about that other than going somewhere else.

It is what you think - Wendy's. If you like Wendy's you already know. All the good food aside (love the chili) I noticed staff doing their best to keep up with a busy lunch hour, and in spite of the rush made time to give a free frosty to someone who did not have money to buy one. May not have been cheerful under the stress, but staff are kind, and that goes a long ways in my book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
