Applebee's

Visited Applebee's after a seriiiiiiousssslly long time..have to say that I was a bit disappointed. Not because of the food, but because of the customer service.. it was subpar. Had to wait for an hour before I got my beer..and then the food came, 10 mins later.. Thankfully the food wasn't a complete let down..I ordered one of it's classics, the lemon zest chicken and it was delicious..the rice was cooked to perfection and the chicken was soft and juicy 😍.. Just wish their service was as good as their food!😅

Horrible Experience. Took almost 10 minutes for us to be seated and the place was empty. We would wait really long periods of time before we would even see our waitress and she seemed VERY OVERWHELMED and she only had like 4 tables. I waited so long for my waitress to come to order a drink I went to the bar to order one and the bartender was beyond rude. Another customer who table was next to us wasn't receiving good service either and filed a complaint with the manager and her on our behalf. The manager response to her for us was to inform us to find her when we are ready to pay our bill. A good manager would've came to our table and addressed the issues not us to play cat and mouse with her. I will never go back to this Applebees again and wouldn't recommend anyone else to go either. I am from the South Side and easily could've went to one of the locations closer to me but I was on the north side and though I was hesitant I decided to give it a shot only to regret it immediately. I only rated it 1 star because it made me in order to post this review

The experience yesterday was not good at all. I made a request to bring my drink right away because I was thirsty and it took about ten minutes. There was also a request to bring the soup out soon but after 20 minutes the appetizers came but still no soup. So I cancelled one of them and requested the other one to he packaged for take out. They gave me the one for free, which was ok. So when the entrees finally arrived, I waited patiently for mine while the rest of our party was enjoying theirs, and unfortunately mine never arrived. Of course they still tried to charge me for it. The waitress apologized again, and removed off the bill. I have only been there a couple of times before, so I am not sure if this was just a bad day or if this is a frequent issue.

Tonight was my second visit to this location. Both times I have walked out due to extremely bad service. Tonight I had a party of 3 guys that walked in during late night. While there was 3 servers on duty for just the bar area, we we didn't see a server for at least 15 minutes. We ordered drinks and food and then our drink orders sat at the bar for an additional 10 minutes while our servers goofed off and danced in the back of the restaurant. After waiting an additional 5 minutes, we informed the bar tender we decided to leave. At no point did we see the server after our initial interaction. Certainly feels like our business was not wanted. I will NOT be back to this location. I'm sorry for wanting to provide business to your establishment.

We arrived there around 9PM to learn the dining room was closed which wasn’t a big deal until I saw other individuals being seated in that area. We didn’t get spoken to by any servers for about 20 minutes. Server was very kind, but slow service and freezer burned food ruined the meal. Server said she’d take one item off our receipt due to it being severely freezer burned which of course she never came back to do so. Usually love Applebee’s, but unfortunately will not come back to this location

We have been here at the Glendale, WI location before on visits to the Milwaukee area, but our visit on 1/25/2018 marks the last time we will ever dine here again. The hostess initially tried to seat our party of 4 in a booth, but the bench seat on one side was so badly torn that sitting on it could have damaged the clothing of the person seated on the gaping gash. Being reseated to a table should have been our signal to leave, because one of the chairs was damaged and the lady of our party allowed fell off. (An undamaged chair was provided). Next to our table was a family with 4 kids. At the end of their visit, they left an unappetizing mess behind. Their server was disgruntled and refused to clean up or get assistance to clean, opting instead to remove the chairs from the table so that no one else would be seated there. Our server was embarrassed when we pointed this out, but couldn't get the manager to respond either. The only redeeming factor was that the food was delivered in what appeared to be in the typical Applebee's mode. That is why they "earned" their one star. If you enjoy Applebee's I suggest you seek out other Milwaukee area locations, but stay away from this place.

Me and my friend come in to be seated and the waiter came by about 3 minutes later. She asked what kind of drinks we wanted and did not return for 20 minutes just to bring one drink, so my friend was still waiting on hers. We keep waiting m, then look a few tables down, the waitress is standing there eating Popeyes at one of the bar stool tables! After she got a few bites she took another 5 to 10 minutes to come back with the second drink. However, she disappeared again to go eat and serve others which she only had 4 other tables of 3 or less. She declined help from another waitress who was trying to stay and help out but she should have accepted the help. My mozzarella sticks came out with ice cold marinara sauce. The sampler my friend ordered came out in parts with 5 minute gaps between each item. The artichoke dip my friend ordered has a thick ring of burnt cheese on the cup so we can tell it has been reheated. On top of taking all day the waitress is really out in front of everyone eating Popeyes and spending more time with the door dash drivers coming in. A refill on a drink took another 15 minutes. I literally will only write a review if the service was flat out horrible and this was it! I’m not coming back to this location and would not suggest it to anyone else. We’re watching her serve the other tables and she definitely needs more training or a new job.
