Vagabond

I got the cheese & onion enchiladas with black beans & rice- very bland. Had to get a side of guacamole to give some flavor, so meh on the food, in my opinion. However, my partner got some seafood tacos & gives them a 7/10 score, so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. The atmosphere was fine- super busy, but the bartender was attentive. Overall I'd say our experience was just average. We definitely don't have to go back.

I consider this my favorite taco Tuesday location in Milwaukee. However, if you don't go on the discount days, the tacos are extremely expensive. Also, sometimes the tacos aren't all filled properly, and then they aren't worth the money. I also LOVE the vaga-bowls, so I recommend getting that if you aren't there on a taco Tuesday. The margaritas are okay, again, I think it's just a little too pricey. Be aware that the chips and salsa are not complimentary, but it's still worth getting it. The best taco by far is the gringo pollo. Finally, the atmosphere is great! I love the decor and lighting.

Place is great. The whole vibe is amazing. Definitely a Milwaukee staple. Perfect pre-game spot. I’m a taco snob at heart so I’m kind of hard to please. They work, they hit the spot, definitely a level 4 IMO. The place is so cool that you can’t give the food any lower of a rating than a 4. Over all I recommend this place to everyone I know. Great specials. Good Energy. You will have fun here!!!

We circled the Marcus Parking garage looking for the bubbles. Tucked away we saw an airstream and open air seating, but we would have missed it otherwise. After the event we googled “food near me” and remembered driving by Vagabond. Boy are we glad we went! We got a flight of tacos and a couple of beers for $50. Each was different and delicious! (The black bean was our favorite!) It was early on a Saturday night and there was a live dj playing. Waitstaff was attentive and awesome. The host engaged when we entered and left. The atmosphere is chaotic and engaging. I hope they stay in business tucked away where they’re not very visible - we will be back and bring visitors and friends along with us!

I had fabulous guacamole with a kick (very generous portion, n/a margaritas, and Brazilian skirt steak tacos (with cilantro, onion, and lime) and a side of rice and beans. The beans also had a spicy kick to them too 🤩. The atmosphere was fun. The service was excellent, and the waitress was very attentive. It's a great restaurant for a birthday or just a fun time out. I will definitely return to Vagabond
