Classic American breakfast food. I felt like I walked into a real old school diner. The servers were all smiles, peaches and cream. The food was solid, hearty, and delicious. Their real achievement is the pie. Oh. My. God. The pie. I didn’t know pie could taste like that. I started eating it and before I knew it, it was gone. My one complaint is that it was very crowded. If you want to avoid that many people, don’t go on a weekend morning. That seems to be when they’re busiest.

cute restaurant. obvious that lots of hard work goes on there. They get to the verge of being overwhelmed on the 2 times we ate there. Just a lot of cooking and service for small staff. Food is good but frustrating when they run out of entrees. Everything ordered is cooked then (mostly). wait times are too long really. pricing is fair. Hope they can grow a little larger and keep the fresh food coming!

I was a little bummed at first to learn that they only serve breakfast on Saturdays. The breakfast pictures look so good!! I'll have to check them out again on a Saturday. The server was very friendly and sat at my table to talk and get my order. She suggested the mashed potatoes and I'm glad I took her recommendation! The right amount of chunky and creamy 👌 I ordered the fried green tomato BLT with greens beans and mashed potatoes. Restaurant green beans can be hit or miss but they do it well here. The sandwich was good with a nice balance of flavors. I would have liked a bit more substance to it (the tomato slices were pretty thin so it was mostly breading) and I had a different expectation for the sourdough bread, but overall I enjoyed it! It's a quiet enough area that sitting outside was pleasant and the prices are reasonable :) check it out!

Read reviews and said had to give it a try. We arrived for breakfast and there was a waiting line. Seated at counter and could fully observe that this was a locals favorite restaurant. Great, friendly atmosphere and many knew each other. (We're in another community close by). Food was worth the wait with my biscuits and gravy and wife's belt buster (pancakes, etc). Staff was excellent and had great interaction with customers. Will be back!

Absolutely fabulous food. I usually add salt any place i go, but not here. They season their food. The fry on the chicken fried steak was perfection. Grits on point aswell as the biscuits. The apple pie was so flavorful. Hands down one of the best apple pies, al la mode style. I wanted to lick the plate but my wife wouldn't let me.

Great food and even better service! Found it accidentally after doing business in the local area. Glad I did! A fun old fashioned small town atmosphere without being corny or contrived. Many of the customers and service people have known each other for decades. But they welcome new customers like they were old friends. I've been all over the world, been to many restaurants. This is one of the friendliest. Btw, coffee is some of the best tasting on the planet. And I've been everywhere on this planet. Good job!
