Bento Xpress

I wanted to find a place near City Hall that would serve quick food and this was what I chose. I read good reviews so I came over. The menu was simple to understand and had a good variety of choices. The cashier was friendly. The food was exactly what I expected. Great tasting food and good service. If you want quick Japanese food, this is a good place to go.

I was looking for Katsudon in the bay area for a while and I am happy to have found this place. The service was quick and friendly, the cashier person made eye contact haha! I was in and out within 15 minutes of placing the order. The food came out to be warm and flavorful, I would reccommend this spot if you are looking for decently priced Japanese cuisine.

Just came from Bento Xpress. Very tasty Japanese food & reasonably priced. Service is excellent & friendly. Will go back to try other dishes. Just read a post from a Simin Guo. Is he rating the same restaurant? Not at all a one star or zero. He needs to get his act together. Thumbs down to him.

Incredible food and absolutely ridiculously incredible service. Everyone is so nice and really positive. Very attentive and helpful. Can't say enough good things about this place and I had my doubts since this just looked like a low-key place But don't let that fool you. It has an incredible foundation for a great business.

Please give this place a visit! It’s a must. Great price, for healthy and decliious meals. Most importantly, it seems brought me back to the old times, when family business care about their customers. I felt being treated well when the owner, while taking my order, asks “are you sure you don’t want any water?” Or “Would you like lemon in it?” That makes me feel being taken care of. The way to me just feels different from lots of other restaurants, like robots 🤖, sort of. I appreciate in such fast paced modern world, I have this place that has its characters and warmth.
