Basilico

Liked the Crispy fried calamari, tasty artichoke heart appetizer. Very good Pasta special (Shrimp with garlic tomato sauce). Average/ok taste seafood risotto entree. We ordered two souffle desserts, one chocolate and one strawberry. The strawberry souffle was good. The chocolate souffle was a failure which they still served to us. (see the photo) it tastes like a soft chocolate cookie. We should complain but don't want to wait 15 mins more in the cold patio for another one. We did not ask for credit and no credit was offered either.

Have had this on the to-do list for some time - this restaurant has quite the reputation locally for being a fantastic dining experience. Oysters were great as an app. Half bottles of wine are great for a date during a busy day. I ordered a homemade pasta dish and loved every bite. My fiancee had a pasta special and also really enjoyed it. Espresso was good. Tiramisu was good. Cake and iced cream was great. Be ready to pay for the experience, but know it will be a fantastic one. Will certainly be back.

Haven't been there in a while but the food was as good as I remembered. We all went with Italian classics like fruiti di mare with squid ink pasta, pappardelle bolognese, and mushroom ravioli. They were all great!! But I must say we got the gnocchi with pesto side as an appy and it was one of the best ever. Very good service and friendly atmosphere. Bravo Basilico!

Had a great experience at Basilico! My family and I took our mother out for a Mother’s Day brunch and she was absolutely thrilled with the quality of the food and service at this restaurant! I personally ordered the seafood risotto off the specials menu, it was delicious and the presentation was perfect!

I give credit where credit is due, I’m sorry but I cannot give 5 stars to this place. I was there Friday for lunch, the food was very good but the service was horrible. I don’t know if our server was having a bad day but he was not friendly at all. I am a very pleasant person, polite and always have a smile that is usually contagious, but not only could I not get him to even crack a grin, he was also down right rude to us. I believe politeness and greeting with a smile is a must for any establishment dealing with the public, the server we had is definitely in the wrong business.

Delicious stuffed zucchini flowers, mushroom ravioli where you can see the mushrooms in a black truffle sauce were a must have. Hanger steak cooked to perfection and end the meal with rigota cheese cake and a hot cappuccino and you can't go wrong. This restaurant always has a good selection and the service is top notch.
