Dumpling House

Order cumin tofu, mapo tofu and hot and sour soup. The cumin tofu was deep fried and then stir fried in chili oil with a lot of cumin. It was delicious. The mapo tofu was made from firm tofu instead of soft tofu and each piece was cut too large and there was no mince pork in it. The hot and sour soup tasted good. Overall, food was good but the portions are very small for dinner menu.

We will definitely visit again when we are in the area. We only tried a few dishes and they were all tasty: basic steamed dumplings, steamed dumplings in chili sauce, two large chive and egg dumplings, and cucumbers in chili sauce. I forgot to ask for my dumplings fried, but they were still delicious. The dough is a little thicker than I usually prefer, but surprisingly it didn't bother me at all. The dumplings in chili sauce were a favorite, the sauce was so delicious we used it on the plain dumplings insteadof the dipping sauce. Placed our order around 5pm on a Thursday evening and it was ready is less than 15 minutes. Note that goggle directions sent us to the back of the building for some reason, if the same happens to you just loop around the block. Prices are basically on par with general Chinese take-out places.

Looking for dim sums but I knew b4 entering this restaurant they did not serve them. I did order steam shrimp dumplings, close to dim sums - very good, dipped in soy sauce, lemon juice, and their hot chill sauce, combine those flavors "boom" you have a great dish. The fries with cumin seasoning is a great idea, wow! If I was staying another day in town I would have taken those fries to go. Great places to try out. Not fancy smancy but prices are reasonable and food is delicious 😋.

Small unassuming place, but such delicious food! Went there for the first time today and got pork soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings, chicken dumplings, crab Rangoon, and some fluffy steamed buns. All were amazing! But the best was the cold cucumber in garlic which was out of this world! Slight heat with clean delicious refreshment. Make sure to order the cukes as a little side for anything else you get. We'll definitely be back!

You know it's authentic when grandma is sitting in the corner folding dumplings. Everything we had was great here but I tried the Cumin fries and they were delicious. I've never seen this on an Asian restaurant menu before. The menu has all the traditional Chinese dishes so don't be deterred if you aren't craving dumplings.
