I have been coming here for a number of years, and it just keeps getting better. There is nowhere else locally like it!! Perfect coffee, outstanding bagels and yesterday I had the French toast... wow.

LOVE this place, the bagels are out of this world. Visited today for the third time and honestly can’t stop thinking about how good the Birria bagel was 😍🤤 everything is made in house too which is awesome! The staff are lovely and really helpful. A definite boro gem 💎. 100% recommend!

Whenever I saw the cafe from afar I wondered if only students are allowed or is it a study space. I gave it a visit today and man I spent really good couple hours.
Though a bit busy the space is calm and filled with work or quite time type of energy.
Staff and food is good too, not many options though but whatever they provide is simple and good.
I tried dark hot chocolate with brownie and later got a Halloumi bagel.
First the hot chocolate was just perfect. Some places make it quite hot and one I had here is my second favourite yet! It was creamy and warm.
The bagel was nice for some reason. Can’t rate it as I had bagel and halloumi for the first time 😭

Second time visiting, and the first time , I tried they bagels (Brisket with sauerkraut). Wow, fantastic blown away. How good the food is at this place. I'll 100% be back to try others. I tried Biscoff cookie too lovely.

Personal favourite cafe. I'll come here any time I have the excuse to. Drinks are great, definitely try the bagels if you can afford it. Menu's a bit pricey, but well worth it

The food is out of this world. Good quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. There was a great selection of homemade cakes & biscuits. The staff are warm and friendly. Despite being busy, the atmosphere was calm, relaxed and quite enough for a conversation. We will definitely return for a second visit.

Wonderful coffee shop with friendly staff, an ever updating menu with delicious food for various palettes.
If you're coming for a simple coffee or something a bit more specialised, Off the Ground is an excellent spot in Middlesbrough.

My God. This place always had a special place in my heart since 2020. And it got a huge revamp.
Their food and coffee are amazing. A wide variety of food and beverages.
Friendly staff.
Cute decor and ambience.
Loads of books and a few board games.
Clean and hygienic.
Affordable prices.
Good portions.
One of the best cafes in Middlesbrough.
Definitely recommend and will go again.
