Super Tastee Apple fritters and lemon drops ever! As Locals we don’t eat A lot of beignets or Dunkin or Krispy Kreme… Tastee is the original and our go to every weekend. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. They are happy to help grab the donut at the very end of the case if that’s the one you want. The apple fritters are our favorite of all the donuts offered. The fritters are always crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. They have apples sprinkled in too with lots of cinnamon… Delicious! If you are an apple fritter fan make sure you get there before noon as sometimes they sell out and don’t make anymore. Second favorite is the buttermilk drops. See photos. They have a cake texture - taste is vanilla with sweet cream. Crunchy and a little sugary on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside.

This is the worst experience ever. I came in to order food and in the mean time I played video poker because the wait was long. I actually won $2,000!! I went to the front register to cash out and was told they didn't have the money to pay me. I tipped 50$. It is on camera. The employee said I would have to wait till the next day and I needed to leave the premises. I said I wasn't leaving without my money. So I called Lucky Coins. They said if the employee has the ticket of winnings I don't own it anymore. So I asked the employee to give me the ticket back and she refused. The owner came in and said I was causing a seen. After 30 minutes I finally got my money and was told to not come back. I wish I never tipped. 😪. She claims I never tipped her. I am in the servise industry and know how hard we all work. But to lie about it and refuse my money after a winning ticket is unacceptable.

Visiting my mom from Colorado I went to your location February the 4th this year I tried to order special Castle burgers with no mustard because I'm allergic to it and the lady sit there says we're not doing any special orders so when I walked in the door the place was filthy and nasty the truth is the customers pay your salary I'm in the hospitality world my position is a chef in Colorado if I would tell one of my customers that I would not have a job today I would never go back to your location and I repeat again I will never go back to your location I will encourage the people of Metairie Louisiana as well as New Orleans Louisiana not to go to this location whatsoever is to the owner of this establishment get employees that care for your customers just to let you know I wanted to order 24 Castle burgers and two king cakes if I can give you all zero Stars I would y'all did not even deserve one star and just to let you know I am a born and raised New Orleans native very pathetic location my opinion only
