Denny's

Arrived at Denny’s sat at table for at least 20 minutes til my order was taken .was at least another 40 minutes before I got my meal I asked for salt and pepper and jelly and waited waited after about 15 minutes I asked for a Togo container Waitress: you didn’t eat any of your food Me : kind of hard to eat when you don’t have any silverware Waitress: oh ! I thought it was something I did . You can take it home put it in the microwave and watch the super bowl At register Cashier: how was your meal? Me . Thinking#!!#+¥£€€£>{| and told him Cashier: what can I do for you to make it better Me:nothing Cashier : Don’t give up on us Me : should of went to Waffle House like I had planned. I will never go back here again. One star would be to good for them

The food was great, but the staff left much to be desired. The host (male wearing all black with glasses) made it clear to our server Tyniqua G that my husband and I was going to be difficult (yes he was that loud and arrogant). He then sat us at a dirty table with no menus. He was eavesdropping in our conversation. We could literally hear him repeating it. We’re visiting from out of town... we’ve never been here and believe me it’s the last time.

Ok, I understand today we had bad storms that caused outages and many (like us) went to find a place to eat. We drove around and ended up at here. We arrived at 5:20pm and it is now 6:30pm. What’s wrong with this picture? Still waiting on a refill! 6:34pm we finally got our food. Presentation is everything, and taste is another! Let’s see how this goes! 6:52pm well we finally got to eat. It was ok. They forgot the avocado and hard boiled egg on the salad, pot roast was ok, except for the sautéed onions which were more burnt than sautéed, the bourbon chicken was probably the best of all the meals we had. Overall, considering the circumstances, I still have to give them the benefit of the doubt, since they were short staffed. Thank You for the meal!
