The Griddle

The place was really noisy. Our waitress was friendly and kind. I ordered a make your omelet. I ordered cheese, spinach, onions and mushrooms. Had to pay more for the cheese. When I got the omelet it was small and the veggies were cut up so small you could hardly tell what it was. It was a whitest yellow in color and a odd shaped like it was poured into a mold and microwaved. They put the toast on the plate to make the plate look filled. The hash browns were also a small portion. My hubby ordered the chicken fried steak. He took about two bites and left it. The biscuits and gravy weren't good either. However he did eat the hash browns and eggs. We paid $38.00 for alot of food left on the table. We won't be back.

Not your standard bacon and eggs, but much better. This location has retained many of the same staff members for years and their food is a comfortable mix of elevated and homemade. They just opened up a second wing (complete with bar stools) to accommodate the crowd that starts to gather around 9a on the weekend. I recommend the Red Flannel Hash and Eggs, or any of the Specials that are served on Saturdays.
