Agave Maria

Well, I can't say what it used to be, but my wife and I ordered takeout from there and were surprised and pleased. The tacos especially were unusual, well seasoned, imaginative and tasty. I had the fish taco and the Korean as well as the tequila lime pie. All portions were smallish, but filling and well done. My wife's corn on the cob was new to us and tasty. Her enchilada was more average, but I don't like too much cheese. I often complain after eating Mexican that it all tastes the same to me, but this was different, reasonably priced and a welcome change. We will be back.

Fun decor, friendly and knowledgeable waiter, fantastic margaritas, and delicious food. It's higher end so the portions aren't large considering the price, but the presentation and interesting flavor combinations make up for it. Tried the guacamole, which was good but not particularly noteworthy, the sliders (wonderful) and the scallops (perfect flavor and spiciness). The strawberry cake for dessert was also great, and a generous portion.
