Little Tea Shop

I used to go there often, I had worked with the owners son at Auto-chlor System in Memphis and he used to bring us some of that delicious corn bread sticks that they made in his mom's kitchen and so whenever I went out for lunch the Little Tea Shop was a favorite place on mine to go to, his mom (Bobbie) was such a sweet lady and the food was awesome!

Of all of the restaurants in downtown Memphis I find the little tea shop the very best.All of the food is very fresh and if you're doing keto or any other type diet it's the place to eat.the menu changes daily with a wide assortment of home cooked delicious and healthy items .The turnip greens are fixed perfectly and the fresh baked cornbread sticks are a southern delite. Ms Sue makes sure that the food comes out consistent every day with it spiced to perfection never over spiced and cooked perfect. The wait staff is smart and very friendly. I always see gursts there from all over and a lot of foreign tourists enjoy eating there. Itry and eat there 5 days a week..Thank goodness we are blessed to have The Little tea Shop ln our wonderful town.

We were directed to this historic resteraunt by the great folks at the peanut shoppe (which is also wonderful and friendly). Take it from someone who has spent their life eating southern food, this is some of the best I have ever had in my life. Not only was the food delicious but the staff was delightful. I highly recommend you check it out. Don't expect fancy, this is a down home family cooking at it's best!

I went to the Little Tea Shop today and holly cow! The food was absolutely great. It was fresh and flavorful. I got the meatloaf, english peas and mashes potatoes and gravy. My hubby got the vegetable plate with scalloped tomatoes, stewed okra and tomatoes and greens. It came with a basket of fresh and delicious cornbread. My husband goes there regularly. I had been only one time months ago. Service is great and friendly. Sue was very nice and lovely. I love this place will definitely come back.
