I love stoping in here for a couple of beers.
There’s always plenty of locals and the atmosphere is great. I always think of this place as the city version of The Town and County for Slim Dusty’s classic.
It’s nice of a cafe than a bar but the beer is cold and excellent value. Sit outside, watch the world go buy and enjoy a beer 🍻

$159 seafood platter, never again.
This platter is not priced right to what we got served.
6 very salty oysters it tasted like it was rewashed in salt water. 2 king prawns that was the size of normal prawns, mussels was in a sauce which was was served cold, chips was crunchy and good, but that shouldnt be anything to make up for the price. Cocktails prawns, squid and fish was good though but that something you can get anywhere.
No lobster or bugs part of the price? We were too hungry to be complain about it.
The place had a lively vibe with music, great for after work drinks. Defintely not a place to dine after 8pm (maybe because it was a friday night?)

Tiffany and Andrew were both fantastic.
A couple of drinks turned into lunch then dinner. We stayed for 8 hours.

Me and my girlfriend just randomly walking into this restaurant in our vacation in Melbourne and we did not expect much since it was not very crowded in the morning, but we were very surprised. We had coffee, eggs and some bacon for our breakfast. The food was amazing especially the coffee. The staff was very helpful and the service is nice. The prices were very affordable, even when the restaurant is located by the Yarra River with a very good looking view. I would definitely come back.

I can not count how many times I have been to Hooks. I was firstly impressed by their furniture’s arrangement. As a bar, I expected to see the bustling atmosphere with modern equipment and decoration, but Hooks gave me the feeling of home-stay, of a warm and welcoming family. There come palm trees with lines of tables and chairs made from bamboo, I guess. Every time visiting Hooks, I try myself different food and beverages, as they offer a wide range of choices for the guests, from low to high price (still reasonable). I love the way staff treats me too. I’ll definitely come back.

Great service. We dined here on Friday night dinner, with a voucher for the Lobster Thermidor. The service here was amazing. Despite being half an hour early for our booking, they seated us right away and served our food really quickly. Everything was top quality. Okay, you don't get much meat with the Lobster, but that is normal, though usually, it costs an arm and a leg. Considering, I thought it was a generous serving which was presented nicely and tasted great. All up the experience was excellent. I'd definitely come back again.

This is a great bar with excellent river views right next to highly identifiable Webb Bridge. There is a lovely atmosphere outside, with plenty of tables and charming bean bags for you and your mates to sit on. The girls do serve made up drinks out to you so the service here is impeccable.
The owner seems really enthusiastic and cares about his business and customers. Love his energy and bit of a cheeky demeanour. He made an excellent mojito for my mate and I personally love their lemon lime bitters mixture.
There is ample seating within for days with awful weather with a nice big screen for the sports lovers. I would definitely return for another cold one by the river with an amazing atmosphere.

Decor is a bit meh hence probably why I'd never stopped by but today I finally came here with a work colleague to give it a try. Service was friendly. My friend ordered the beef cheeks pie with chips. He was pretty happy with the pie and pretty much polished the plate. Chips were nice. I ordered myself the meatlovers pizza on their special lunch's menu. and though the base was a tiny bit doughy, it was nice and thin. Plenty of meat and a generous helping of golden, molten cheese. The sauce was also nice. I could definitely come back.

Not a bad marinara. Needed a little more salt, little more garlic to enhance the flavor further. Need a bit more pasta to go with the seafood. On the good side, the seafood was fresh and the pasta was cooked el dente. Overall not a bad pasta, can easily be even better!

Went tonight with my family for our dual birthdays, The food was excellent, fresh and tasty, and plenty of it, far too much for us to eat. The staff Jordan and Sue were attentive, and nothing was too much trouble for them. l would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody either for a birthday celebration or just a lovely meal. We couldn't fault it.

Hooks at the Yarra was a place that I have been meaning to go to since it was in the book and Burp Appetit wrote good things about it. But I never really got the time to go there until now. It is Christmas time and in Christmas time places along South Wharf/Docklands are usually busy. But Docklands seemed to be dead quiet. I'm guessing that no one can afford the cost of dining there.

A real unique space, you gotta sit on one of these big bean bags, sip a coffee or tea late morning or a glass of wine in the evening, enjoy the marina view and the calmness of this part of Melbourne! Great service with very attentive staff and the baked eggs I had were on point, lots of mozzarella!

Not to miss this place while paying visit to the South Wharf. One of the best fish and chips at MEL that I had. Instead of buying a Victoria Secret Perfume at the DFO, the cocktails here are worth a try for the same amount ( I know weird comparison ,but the VS is intoxicating as well) !!! The pizzas are as well worth trying .Enjoyed my stay at the city, kudos to this place.

Lunched today at Hooks on the Yarra and chose their Chicken Parma (served with chips and salad) for $22. Even though the chips were deep fried well unfortunately I wasn't impressed overall because the batter on the Parma had been burnt on the edges and overall was exceptionally crispy, even the chicken wasn't tender - a huge disappointment, this establishment seriously needs a new chef. The service provision was good and the meal was served within 15 minutes of ordering. Great view from the restaurant and good atmosphere, would love to come back on a hot afternoon to try the bean bags outside! My partner and I shared the calamari entree which was good. My partner then had the porterhouse which was delicious and he really enjoyed it and I had the half lobster mornay which was nice a creamy. I would come here again as the prices weren't outrageous and the food was good. The waitress was a little shy though but she was friendly.

Had the seafood platter and it was absolutely gigantic. I can imagine many people wouldn't be able to finish it. Loved the morton bay bugs and the whole barramundi. Crab, oysters and prawns were also fresh and juicy. Funny thing was we were asked three times during the course of the meal if everything was okay. Why wouldn't anything be okay...? The only downside was that the garlic focaccia we had at the start was a bit off. The bread tasted sour for some reason. Other than that, excellent service and environment, the seafood platter was definitely quite memorable. Had a nice bottle of Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris to complement the seafood which made it even more fantastic.

Came past here with a friend and decided to grab a drink and something to nibble on while we waited for another friend. <br/>It's a great location on the Yarra and the venue design and layout is quite nice with Te outdoor area looking very casual and inviting wit some areas that had bean bags to lounge on. <br/>We were seated at a table and we ordered a pair of fancy looking French ciders to try and they came out in very large bottles, they tasted great and were relatively cheap so we grabbed some chips which came with tomato sauce and aoli. I like to believe I am some what of a sauce and chip connoisseur and I have to say these chips were one of the best takeaway chips I've had in the city, the had a special crumbed salting over then which added extra crunch and taste and the saltines combined with the home made aoli, it was the perfect snack to go with the large ciders. Was nice to sit back and chill in the ambience of Melbourne as the sun set.

The great little hidden gem is amazing the service is great and the food is great too. I've got no complaints about this place I was there on good Friday and they got inundated with customers. THANKYOU for being open on a public Holliday. Full marks. And if you have a complaint about that day then drink your black tea and get on your funny little push bike and move on. I'm sick and tired sitting next to unappreciative pains in the backside complaining about trivial rubbish just because there favourite cafe is not open. I'm a customer my first time there I will be back. The problem with this site urbanspoon is that it hasn't changed. It's still the same rubbish.and it never get checked. This is the second time I joined urbanspoon and its hasn't changed. As for complaining customers get a life and let us have our coffee in peace.

Cooked Prosciutto. I'm a big pizza fan and Prosciutto is my fav! but it was a first time to have a pizza with the prosciutto cooked on top! Not sure I like it that way, dried it out and the cheese made it more oily. Bases on pizza are too thick for my liking also but flavours were okay and the service was fantastic (UK guy)

Mussels a must!. Brother-in-law and I spent a pleasant Tuesday afternoon at the fabulous little restaurant on the Yarra away from the noise and crowds of Southbank.<br/>We shared a delicious focaccia as an entrée and then had a huge bowl of Mussels each. The brother-in-law's speciality is Mussel's and to say we were not disappointed is an understatement. Great sauce and cooked to perfection.<br/>We started the afternoon with a beer - I had a German Lager and he had a dark ale - both very nice. We love our shiraz and though some seafood lovers would say you drink white with mussels - we always have a nice shiraz and wasn't disappointed in the owners vintage.<br/>Final drinks were 2 tokay's and we loved it. The owner has his own vineyard in Goulburn Valley and rightfully is very proud of his wines.<br/>We'll be going back and taking the wives so we would certainly recommend it.<br/>Hint - ask where to park as parking is cheap but can easily be missed.<br/>Well done!

Blah! Steak sandwich was burnt all over from the stale mushrooms and what I'm guessing was onion couldn't really tell though considering it was drenched in balsamic vinegar ( come on really!! Why?) someone needs to clean the grill pan and hire a new chef! Staff were not that flash either when asked for tomatoe sauce I got aioli and when asked for a napkin to clean up my balsamic dressing mess she just responded with ok I guess, not even a question about why or was I not happy with it. I could go on but I can't be bothered, what a massive let down :)

The waitresses were friendly and efficient. The only down point was the owner pacing around in gym gear and the display of protein powders and supplements on the counter - completely at odds with a nice casual dining experience near the water.

Never again.. My partner purchased a voucher for 6 dozen oysters with 2 bottles of wine.<br/>They were not bad. The wines were clean skins labeled with Hooks. I'm not an expert on oysters so I won't pass judgment. <br/><br/>The owner was incredibly rude. Treated us poorly. He was walking around wearing gym gear in a foul mood. Claimed 'Ourdeals' were rude to him so he was going to be rude to us!?! His own bar girl told him off and SHE was good enough to offer us some complimentary oysters. Sadly the damage was done.<br/><br/>There is a huge display of protein supplements and gym products which is in contrast to the rest of the decor. There is a gym upstairs so its probably the same owner.

Great stuff. Used a Our Deal voucher for lunch today comprising 3 dozen oysters + a bottle of wine all for $29.00 what a bargain. Fortunate for me my partner does not like oysters so I had them all to myself. Yummo. Restaurant is nicely located at South Wharf just a short walk from Southern Cross Station. They have a special lunch menu at a cost of $10.00 - excellent value. My partner Vikki had a lasagne which she thoroughly enjoyed. Would not hesitate to return.

Was looking forward to a great seafood platter for 2, got a platter full of fish and chips that would have fed 6. practically everything on the plate was deep fried except one small grilled fish, which looked even less appealing than the mass of deep fried food. While yes, the fish was all very fresh, it had been ruined in a revolting batter and deep fryer.

DISGUSTING. Okay. Where do I begin?<br/>Here is my OurDeal Voucher experience.<br/>Firstly, there was something incredibly off about the sauce in which the lobster was served. It had wayyyy too much onion and was going up my nose continuously. Absolutely revolting. Secondly, there was nothing great about the salad or chips. I can see why this place doesn't get much business!<br/>Thirdly- the only redeeming features were the wine offered and the waitress who served us. After her shift ended, the waiter and manager were both oblivious to clearing mine and my partner's plates, so that the yucky sauce could congeal and continue to look and smell disgusting. I ordered a coffee afterwards, but I wouldn't even let my dog drink it - it was that watered down and gross. Will NEVER be coming back! Ergh.

Generally you recieve the bottle & glass at the table, our glasses came but not completely full?!! - the meal was lovely & the $33 bottle of wine offered with the deal, was a Dan Murphy clean skin with their own Hooks on the bay label. - no real ombience in this place, but nice to drop in for a meal i guess - wont be back

Best Seafood in Melbourne. I have dined here a few times and had to spread the word about Hooks! The meals are always top shelf and the prices are pretty good considering the size/quality of the portions ($10 lunch specials!!). The seafood is sooooo fresh... I smash the oysters everytime I go (amazing!). This place is a well run quality seafood restaurant along the water down by South Wharf. Can't wait to get amongst this place when the warmer weather kicks in as the outside area is very cool... plus the drinks menu is spot on!. Big thumbs up!!

We have eaten at Hooks a few times and loved the previous meals and service but we were so disappointed with the Lobster Thermidor it was the worst meal we have ever eaten and my husband actually felt ill afterwards. I think reconstructed rubber tyres would have more flavour and tenderness than this meal. We were so disappointed we doublt that we will return.

We would definitely dine here again. Easiest way to find Hooks is to park at South Wharf/DFO and follow the Yarra toward Etihad Stadium ~ a 2 min walk from South Wharf/DFO. Beautiful surrounds and would be lovely in summer to dine on the waterfront.

Restaurant located at the far end of the building and therefore can't be seen from the main road. There is no parking in the building so had to use the public car park at No.60 which charges $3 for 2 hours. Had lobster Thermidor using a voucher and it was served with a shared bowl of chips and green salad, both of which were quite small serves. Lobster was alright but not special. Don't think it's worth coming again.

Fantastic Restaurant in a Great Location. We purchased the OurDeals voucher for Lobster Thermidor for two ($39) at lunchtime, the food was amazing, the staff were extremely helpful, our children have nut allergies and the staff were more than happy to go out of their way (even the chef) to ensure there were no “nut” products in the food that we purchased. Presentation of the food was beautiful. Great location along the Yarra with beautiful views of the river. Loved the bean bags out the front of the restaurant, great idea! We will definitely be back, you can’t go wrong with the lunch specials at $10-$15 with dishes like risotto’s, pastas, osso bucco and lamb shanks (some even provide a glass of wine)! I had the lamb shanks and they were amazing.

Lobster Thermidor success!. Came here on an OurDeals voucher for Lobster Thermidor for two ($39) at lunchtime. The atmosphere is beautiful -open, clean with plenty of patrons sitting outside basking in the sun. The service was shameful however, the waiters seem very abrupt, uninterested and not very attentive. As my mother had finished her meal first the waitress came over to remove her dish but also took the shared salad dish which my mother had left for me. We called after the waiter but she didn't turn around -which was a little bit embarrassing. The food however was amazing, the chips were served in a very cute basket and were golden and crispy. The half lobster was about 30cm long and was smothered in delicious cheesy sauce -that was over-peppery but not a huge problem. I particularly enjoyed the fact that all the meat had been removed from the shell and were cut into large pieces and put back into the shell to allow for easy eating. Needless to say fantastic value for $20pp. The rice on the side was very bland though, it was creamy but strangely didn't taste of butter or any other flavor. We substituted the wine for a lemon and lime bitters each which was served in the biggest glass I have ever seen. It was served in a one pint beer glass and was a thirst-quenching delight. We will certainly be back with or without voucher as the $10-$15 lunch menu looks amazing with dishes like ox tail and lamb shank! Yummo!

Difficulty with using the VOUCHER. Called up a few days ago before I purchased the voucher to see if it would be easy to get a booking for a saturday - the lady on the phone said there shouldn't be a problem with any days as long as its not a monday. I bought the voucher and called up to book today however the gentleman who picked... up after finding out that I called up to book in with the voucher said they were fully booked for this saturday as well as next saturday. <br/>Most businesses do deals these days hoping the the vouchers do not get used and they profit out of them.

Great service. Terrific spot along the Yarra with nice views if the river and my favorite bridge. Prawns beautifully fresh and huge. Bread yummy. Coffee good. A new part of the city to explore - look out for the palm trees and bean bagels! A great touch. Will be back at night time to see the different view.

Enjoyable Establishment. Have been to Hooks Several times - Every time their Oysters are allways fresh and their prawns are sweet and juicy, best is their olive infused bread. Have plans to attend again. Place to go while sitting by the Yarra seeing the world go by. Great friendly service. Best place to take some time out and smell the roses.

Good calamari and fabulous chips but not good enough to make up for the terrible service. Hospitality definitely not one of their attributes: 6 staff behind the counter, 12 diners, still had to get our own cutlery and salt and pepper.

Very Disappointed. We came here from buying the vouchers. Had great difficulty booking dinner for a week night. Staff didn't know what they were doing and I was put on hold 7 times while he had to go check with his manager. Eventually he hung up on me without a booking. When we finally got a booking, we got there staff was very slow and food was average. Will not be coming back. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Mostly good. We went to Hooks as a result of buying the voucher which included a kilo of prawns, a drink and foccaccia. All of these were very enjoyable. The dessert menu was on the pricey side. We ordered the strawberry sable stack, there was no fruit coulis and some of the strawberries had a garlic after taste. The staff were friendly and overall it was a good experience.

Very disappointing. The venue looked impressive when we arrived, however the staff did not seem to know what was going on and the food was very disappointing. I had the lobster fettacine and found it quite oily and the pasta was overcooked. My partner had the fish and chips. The chips were tasteless, the fish was very fishy. Fish and chips from a fish and chips shop tasted better. Instead of serving this with tartare sauce as stated on the menu, it was served with a garlic aioli, which had so much garlic that it made your tongue tingle. We will not be going back.

$10 lunch specials for pizza, pasta and risotto are absolutely delicious and the best value in the area. Gnocchi with blue cheese sauce was so delicious! You can't even get an sandwich for that price over the river in docklands. We will be back. Lovely to sit outside as well and the beanbags are a nice touch. Well done guys!

Great location, beautiful evening great company, should be a great experience a pity that we didn't get what was on the menu, 'John Dory with spinach, strawberry and mango salad', sounded great, pity about there being no strawberries, so they replaced it with watermelon, nice but no explanation was offered untill we asked, reply was that the strawberries were not up to standard so they replaced them, they just need to tell us...... Very expensive too - $35, very small portion..Such a pity as it is local to us and each time we have been have been disappointed, keep giving it another chance but not again.... I won't be going back and I ask people to reading these reviews to take note, plenty of choices out there....

Great venue and good food. The service and the food are really nice at this restaurant with great friendly service. Interesting to read the previous review. I have never found hair etc on the cultery. The specials are good. Had some amazing mussels here the other day.

Got there and the table and crockery was covered in hair and dust. Food was below average. Very surprised to see some of the good reviews on here and think they're a little suss and too positive to be genuine. Service ok but not great and waitress was a bit forgetful. Beanbags under palm trees out the front make for a great hangout, great location but wouldn't go back as the food is not worth it.

We'll Be Back. Stopped in for lunch yesterday. The service was very friendly and polite. The atmosphere was very relaxing, the food cooked to perfection. Will now be our regular eating haunt when visiting Melbourne.

We dined on a Ourdeal voucher great deal upgraded to Sav Blanc for $10.00 extra.<br/>Warm Hot Night beautiful location lovely friendly staff had a great atmosphere under the palm trees lots of people.<br/>Loved my Scallops to die for very disappointed in the lobster very tough I would avoid that dish altogether, my husband enjoyed his Calamari and lovely piece of Steak. Would definitely recommend and will go back to . Thanks I wish you all the best !

Tasty Mussels in a spicy meditteranean broth, followed by Atlantic Salmon cooked to perfection with healthy vegies and witlof salad. DIVINE food, wine and setting...am hooked!!

Beautiful location. We had lunch today on a voucher and was very impressed, wonderful location especially on a nice sunny day, great staff very polite and attentive and the food was delish, had the scallops for starters which were cooked perfectly and then my husband had the steak which was again perfect, I had the risotto which I probably wouldn't choose again, followed by a very decadent chocolate mousse (def need to share). All in all we were very impressed and will definitely go again

What a Fantastic Experience. Went last night with my wife with a voucher. Immediately greeted and shown to our table. The service was faultless and extremely professional. The location and atmosphere within the restaurant is great. The food was some of the very best seafood we have ever had. We started with foccacia topped with oven roasted capsicum and goats cheese. Straight out of the oven. It could not have been better. Then onto the oysters. My wife had half a dozen kilpatric and I had a dozen natural. They were enormous and just so fresh. The dozen was just about a meal on their own and so tasty. We then both had the lobster, well, it was beyond belief. I have dined in many restaurants both in Australia and overseas and this was some of the best lobster we have had to date. The caviar and seaweed salad totally enhanced the flavors. The serving of the lobster was quite generous. In all, what an absolutely incredible experience.<br/>We travelled from the Latrobe Valley some two hours each way, and boy was it worth the effort to get a dining experience as wonderful as this one was. Can't wait to return and do it all again. Only a small negative and it was no fault of the restaurant, my GPS got confused with the location.

Beautiful!. My friend and I went there for dinner tonight after reading mixed reviews. Our experience was fantastic! The service was friendly and attentive from our waitress and we were made to feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our meals that were cooked beautifully and served piping hot. My friend had the lobster and said it was delicious and not even slightly tough as has been previously reviewed, I had the scampi which was lovely and tasty, our entree's of oysters and scallaps were also divine. We were left wondering how on earth this place could have had a negative review on any level!!!! For us this place was well worth the visit and we look forward to coming back again as the weather warms to have another lovely meal outside.<br/>Thanks for a lovely meal and a great night Hooks @ The Yarra!

Needs improvement. Shortly after being seated appeared that they had forgotten about us, 15 min had passed by and noticed that other late customers were served first. had to call out to the waitress for the menu. extremely slow service, 60min wait on the entree, followed by another 30min on mains. quality of the food was average, the abolone entree had about a few small over cooked abolone, the rest was made up of mushrooms, whilst the main with lobster had 3 pieces of again over cooked lobster with the dish filing up with mainly glass noodles. Although my husband thought the mackeeral fish that they had on the special board was cooked quite well. we came here on the voucher deal, had it been paying full price i would be extremely disappointed with how over priced the dishes were for what was served. i have to agree with the consistent message across other diners in this case, not a huge fan.

Not worth the money. Had lunch at hooks today for our anniversary. The lunch menu was very ordinary and must admit that I have had better pub food. Complained about it and nothing was done. Will not go back again . VERY DISAPPOINTED.The lunch menu does not match their website's menu, lunch is very restricted and they don't tell you that.<br/>This is our first dud on vouchers and what a day to have it on.

Beautiful location. How lovely that we discovered Hooks @ The Yarra through a voucher offer. We were able to try some of their more high-cost dishes which was very generous indeed. Good food, amazingly good location on The Yarra with gorgeous views of The Web Bridge in Docklands (at night it's spectacularly lit). We'll return and so should readers of this.

Had surprisingly lovely meal here tonite with group of friends. <br/>Had One Deal vouchers, was expecting less than great, given difficulty booking for 10 people using 5 vouchers. Would only accept our group on week night, not Fri/Sat/Sun. <br/>Anyway, we all dined on a Wed. Very quiet, not much atmosphere but beautifully fitted out restaurant, friendly staff. We made our own atmosphere.<br/>Deal was any entree & main + bottle house wine to share per couple. Popular entree choices were calamari (v tender, delicious garlic aioli dipping sauce), & scallops (again v tender, fresh & delicate taste).<br/>Mains had many choices incl daily specials (flounder, coral trout, salmon, grouper). Popular choices were lobster medallions (3 pieces, apparently a bit dry) & spicy quail (2 boned birds) which were certainly spicy & juicy with char-grilled capsicum slices & polenta to soak up juice. Yum!<br/>House wine was good- Hanging Rock Shiraz or Chardonnay, both were easy to drink & enjoyable, in fact we bought another bottle of the white during dinner. <br/>An excellent experience, great value on the voucher deal. Probably bit expensive if had to pay full price though.

Was taken here on a suprise dinner with my other half and I loved it!<br/>Every course was perfect!<br/><br/>We had the mussels and the whitebait as starters............both were brilliant but the mussels were really good! the portions were good too!<br/><br/>the mains, I had the scampi which was the best scampi ive ever had! beautifull!!!!!!!!!!!!! my partner had the coral trout which he really liked too :) Oh and the chips were super crunchy!!!!!!!!!!<br/><br/>we both had the creme brulee which was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! there was plenty of it and it was perfect as was the homemade ice cream! just like proper ice cream should be! <br/><br/>This place is fantastic! we will be back very soon! ...............its also a very pretty area at night :)<br/><br/>GOOD JOB GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Deal. Dinner for 2 on Friday 7th Sept on an OurDeal voucher and enjoyed a lovely night. Difficult at first to get a booking, first time l rang gentleman not very helpful and could not get a booking. Second time l rang had a lovely helpful lady who could find us a booking.<br/>On the night found the staff to be very friendly and attentive throughout the night,while the food was very good, the Spicy Quail was the standout dish, so tasty and moist while my partners steak was cooked to perfection. We will be back and happy to pay the full price.

A mixture of feelings. My hubby and I went there yesterday for a dinner on a $49 voucher from Ourdeal. I called the day before to book a table and a male receptionist took the call. yesterday, we went there and met a blonde-hair receptionist (or waitress, i don't know). she said that there was no booking for us (wtf???). I was really upset but becasue I did not ask for the boy'name, I could not say anything. Finally, she gave us a table (luckily, it was not reserved for anyone, otherwise we had to go back home with empty belly). she said sorry for the confusion but i couldn't tell her emotion and attitude then. during the meal, she served us several times but kept a cold face. just imagine she said "enjoy your meal" without any smiles on her face!!!<br/>i don't like her, but the other girl (we asked her where she is from, she said, originally Thailand) was very cute and attentive. she asked us if we liked the food and our the wine for us some times. we talked to her a bit and she was really polite and helpful.<br/>about the food, we had 2 abalone-mushroom entrees and 2 lobster served with glass noodles (about 3-4 cuts of lobster and some noodles). i think they are good enough and the plates are full enough (unlike some other places where they gave us an extremely big plate with a handful of food on it). but it's only worth the money if you have a voucher. if not, you have to pay some $130 for it. i dont think it's a nice idea.

Great ambience, food and service. Wow... Food was amazing! I've been here twice now and I can't wait for my next visit! I had the lobster tortellini and the steak. Both meals were delicious and very well presented. Service was great and very attentive. Would and have recommended to anyone looking for a great meal along the Yarra. Next up work function!

Clearly the owners wrote themselves a review... This place won't last long. Average and confused service, and very very average food. This place could have been a big success with its position, but clearly not with these owners. Have given it 2 chances, never again.<br/>My advice is to walk the extra 100 meters to Bistro Vite and have a very nice meal with great service.

Brilliant Fine Dining. All that i can say is , ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. The service is exceptional and the food was far superior to that of Crown Casino Atlantic,,,, and at a fraction of the cost. You can feast on Lobster Medalions or the finest steak i have had the pleasure of consuming. The chef personally selects all the produce and has exceptional skills in preparation and tantelising delivery. The new owners of this establishment are real people with a genuine desire to satisfy their customers. I sincerely hope that they attain the acculades and patronage they truly deserve.<br/><br/>Excellence............plus.
