Cute little bar for a meal or a drink. The service was fantastic, providing many different options as we couldn't decide on a bottle of wine. Was great to sit on the sidewalk and watch the wildlife of Carlton pass by

If you like craft beers, and food that is satisfying and 'on-fleek', Markov is the place to go. A choice of small plate/tapas dishes, or a main of your own, Markov delivers. Friendly staff, who aren't over bearing yet helpful. Interior makes the most of the historical building, and can cater for a couple, or groups. Best to book ahead.

Extremely over priced craft beer.. as of 6th May 2016 they were charging $18 for a pint of their beer of the week (sadly it didn't cross my mind to ask the price before ordering 2 pints)!!
I'm well aware that some craft beers can warrant a higher price but this was for a 4.5% beer from NZ! Two days later it still irks me that I paid $36 for 2 pints :(

Burger, beer and chips for $15 on Tuesday is incredible. One of the better burgers I've had in the city and the value is incredible. Good tap list too. Best Tuesday deal in the city!

Great bar, with a cool vibe with excellent beers and wine. Barman is extreamly knowledge and friendly ensuring you always get a drink your going to love.

Came for the inzolia, stayed for the Zinfandel. Impromptu stop on a walk round Carlton. Really interesting wine list, and very friendly, informed and genuinely interested service. Strongly recommended

Hit and miss. You could have a great time enjoying some great beers or wine with great staff. Or you could be served average, expensive and old wine / beer by surly staff. It's a roll of the dice

Great chatty staff, relax venue, the food is soooo tasty and the crowd is friendly.
Pretty sure they have dj/dancing here too so will check that out next time.
