TGI Fridays 2000 Evans Rd. Melbourne, FL 32904 4 Stars (Chain Restaurant Review) I stared back in time. The name on my random name generator was flashing me a name from the 80s. Back when this one-horse town was just a no-horse town there were not any chain restaurants at all. In fact, Palm Bay had a population of 1000 residents (sans livestock). Our first casual sit-down place was Bennigan's. The county was so starved for something new that it was packed from noon till close every night and there was always a line to get in. Then TGI Fridays began to creep onto the scene and the war was on. Call me a codger if you will, but I look back fondly on the years of the restaurant wars. In the end, there can be only one and despite the corporate backing of parent company Pillsbury, Bennigan's closed all their corporate locations by 2008 and it was the original single's bar, TGI Fridays that stood tall at the end of the day. Fast forward to 2023. Now, there is a plethora of chain restaurants dotting the Globe and TGI Fridays is anathema to south Brevard. I did recall their burgers with fondness however and as such was intrigued about how their fare fared these days. Nicole is my service professional today and she is fantastic. She is bubbly, inviting, charming, knowledgeable and on point. Well done, Nicole!! The menu has been totally revamped and includes sushi...yes, you read that correctly. TGI Fridays is now offering sushi. Not to get ahead of myself, but I must say it is better than the majority of Thai/Sushi clip joints I've reviewed. As curiosity did get the better of me, I had to order a Just Krispy (sushi) and staying true to the original, I asked for one TGI Fridays Bacon Cheeseburger (medium rare). Before long, Nicole was seen bringing forth our food from yonder kitchen. First up on Big Boy's discerning palate was the order of Just Krispy. Krispy Rice is a separate brand that partnered with TGI Fridays and I have to say, until today I was unaware of them. Krispy Rice began as a delivery-only restaurant in Los Angeles 3 years ago from the team behind the famous Japanese eatery, Katsuya. Its name comes from Katsuya's most renowned creation, crispy rice. The Just Krispy combo consisted of 2 pcs each of The Original Spicy Tuna Krispy Rice, Salmon & Yuzu Krispy Rice, Spicy Hamachi & Wasabi Krispy Rice, Truffle Avocado Krispy Rice and 3 pcs of Krispy Fried Shrimp. Not only was this unique to me, but had excellent taste. The combination of flavors and the crispiness of the rice gives one a culinary experience heretofore unknown. Sadly, I had to move on as I was here for a job, not pleasure (sometimes they intermingle). TGI Fridays bacon Cheeseburger should be the gold standard for all pub burgers. The bun was fresh and toasted, the lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles were all fresh the cheddar spread was delightful and the bacon was pure bliss! I would be remiss if I left out their eponymous sauce. I don't know what's in Fridays sauce, but I know it's tasty on a burger! The Big Boy says, “I love the 80s, Brett Hoag (my editor-in-chief) and TGI Fridays!”

Horrible service, I came in with 2 hungry children and waited for 20 minutes after being sat down before leaving because nobody had came to even take a drink order. The place was practically empty and it seemed to be fully staffed. It was weird to me because I had never experienced such a complete lack of disregard to a great tipper

We ordered on line and picked up for lunch on Saturday. The whiskey glazed sirloin fajitas were excellent. However the potstickers were placed directly into the plastic container which caused the plastic to melt and create holes in the container. The portion of the potstickers that had melted the plastic had to be removed to avoid eating plastic. Seems like they should have put aluminum foil into the plastic container before adding the potstickers, similar to how the fajitas were packaged. That's why this was a 4 star instead of 5 star review.

Ordered from this location through door dash. My food I received was not ideal and i was a little shocked that they sent it to a customer. After speaking to corporate, I was reimbursed with a gift card not equal to what I paid. As I am in the hospital and paralyzed, the card does me no good as you have to use in store or on a pickup order. After speaking with manager I was told nothing they could do. About 20 minutes later they called me back to try and find a way to help me. After not being able to I received an email from corporate saying they were going to give me my money back. All this being said....YES the food was bad... BUT they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to fix said mistake. I gave them 4 stars as the food could have just been an inexperienced cook or just an unlucky day. BUT!!! THIS STORE WENT BEYOND WHAT THEY NEEDED TO RECTIFY THEIR MISTAKE! That is how it is suppose to be done. I worked 15 years in food industry. This store handled this with professionalism and has earned my respect. I will give them another shot purely because the way they handled this. Guaranteed I will spend more with this store then they compensated me. Your manager is a gentleman and a Scholar! My hat is off to you sir!

Came here midday during the week and there was no one present to greet us, despite 2 employees sitting outside. I believe we waited less than 5 minutes before being greeted and this lovely lady was our server as well. We ordered the sharing plate, with 18 boneless wings,Potato skins and mozzarella sticks. Food came out quickly and was delicious. There seemed to be only one other party in the restaurant which was sad. I also ordered the electric lemonade which was lovely.

We went late night for dinner, the service was very good, they have only 1 waitress working so hard that night, yea we tipped him well he deserved it, even with him serving all the tables he was very fast and very respectful, the service was above and beyond and so was the food, they also had a DJ that was rocking the night 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 THE BEST HAMBURGER 🍔 BTW

Me and my homies have come in several times an hour right before closing and they've always served us with respect. Definitely won't make a habit out of it though. Our waiter and entrance hostess this time were especially both very humourous and understanding. ( Thank you to the hostess for confirming the phone case is pink + thank you to our waiter for offering to sing to us for the birthday celebration! You both were amazing. ) We order the dessert platters almost every time and they are perfect. Thank you to the chef as well.
