Panera Bread

This how that old man with gray hair that works at register as cashier, how he called me, a “fry”!? He makes jokes with customers! I came today, it was nobody in front of me, I waited in the line to be called, that dude was on his cellphone texting, messaging!, whatever he was doing! After 20 seconds I was like: “Excuse me”, but he did not react at all, then 10-15 seconds later, I did same thing again, but no reaction. Then I approach him and he finally realized there’s customer waiting on him. I told him that I waited almost a minute before I approach him but he didn’t even say simply word sorry. After I ordered food he asked me for my name I and I said clearly Sly, but when I was about to pick my food I realized that I am a “fry”. He did that on purpose for sure, very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful!

The prices go up and the portions get smaller. The bowls for soup or mac are smaller. Everything is crazy overprice. I often order and egg and cheese sandwich where the egg is supposed to be over easy ( which is how I want it) I choose option of extra egg for 99 cents more. Instead of giving me and extra egg they just cook the egg extra until hard. Why would that be 99 cents more. The employees lack common sense. Also for those of you who rated this as healthy food, as a registered nurse I can assure it is not.

Food was good. I especially loved the chicken and wild rice.... So good! There was a very attentive manager today. She seemed to enjoy her job, which nowadays isn't much the case. So that was a nice addition to my lunch hour. All in all, place had a good number of people, bags of delivery were plenty - tells me their doing well.

If I could give this location zero starts I would. I placed an order (only 3 soups with baguettes) to pick up I get there 10 minutes past the time my order should have been ready and it's not there not sure why. They apologies and start working on my order they call me "your order is ready" and the manager realized i was missing 2 soups apoligizes again and orders them to give me 2 more soups. I leave get home and my baguettes are missing. GET IT TOGETHER!

Liz, General Manager, is great! My order didn’t go through (my fault) and she still took care, resolved the issue, to make sure I was happy with her locations service. She gave me an order on the house. Is there a raise or something in the works for her? I’d set aside some payroll to give her more than she needed to keep showing up to work and continuing to server the customers.

Cashier had my whole order all messed up. Had to repeat myself 4 times twice! Asked for a manager and here comes “Cash”, not sure if that’s his real name or not. Immediately starts getting LOUD when I tell him I asked for a certain kind of milk (whole), and the cashier kept offering everything but what I asked him. Cashier also got my pastry order wrong. Cash continued talking over me, typical, not helping at all but ESCALATING the situation. There is no way this person is a manager unless Panera has extremely low standards for managers. He was ranting and raving, calling the police and lying about what happened because he knew he was busted and wrong. So you’re going to call the police because my order is wrong and I told you so??!! Cash, you need mental help and should not be working as anything but a busboy. Panera, I will not support your business when you employ people like this. An absolute disgrace. Cash money was making the entire crew uncomfortable as I noticed how they were acting when he was hollering on the phone to police. They were so embarrassed. Classy Cash!
