Wendy's

I am impressed with this places performance now relatively speaking to the rest. I arrived around noon and saw a line wrap around the building so I chose curbside pickup to hope for some luck. By 8 minutes my food was not out but due to the long line I would not have even made it to the speaker system in that time. The amount of cars moving through are moving fast a good car order done every 30 seconds to minute. I decide to check on my order by walking by drive thru window. To my surprise they let me know if I am curbside it is ready and handed it to me and just said they are short staff only 2 people behind counter and apologized for what to be honest was faster delivery than expected for current circumstances. They got order right, diet ginger ale which is not a normal request. Burger King just recently handed me diabetic regular after 21 minute wait with 2 cars in front and these two people did nearly a dozen in 8 minutes congrats. Yeah it's busy and like my parents always say a line out the door is lost profits but these two employees in back are doing an insanely good job on their own for the amount of people they are doing and definitely keeping the insane lunch rush alive. Yeah I wish they had more people helping them out, but in this economy optimal is not currently expected but don't take advantage of it. I also love their burbon sauce great stuff.

A really poor experience overall. I arrived a bit after 6 pm and there was quite a line that I attributed to the dinner rush. However, after I sat for a bit it became clear that something was off. I was finally able to place my order and stayed in line since I was determined to get food after having waited for so long. What a mistake that was. By the time I paid and got my food it was almost 7 and I had been there 45 minutes. I had expected to hear something at the window about being short staffed or that a machine was down. But the cashier acted like nothing was happening. My order was correct but that was about the only thing from the visit that didn't go wrong. They also weren't giving anyone their receipts which are necessary to submit feedback to the Wendy's company instead of just writing reviews here on google or similar. This is my first time at a Wendys in a long time and I don't see myself returning.

It's fast food so the bar isn't all that high here. To me getting the order 100% correct and it being hot is 'success' would give it a scaled 3-4 stars (not comparing it to Noma Copenhagen). So the average rating is mostly due to accuracy and also due to atmosphere. I don't go here (beyond sanctimonious reasons) because when COVID hit, they shut down. Ok so did everyone. But even now - June of 2022 - they're quasi shut down. The dining area remains closed. No reason why, it's just closed. And also, this place closes at 8:00 PM so if its a later fast food (literally) you want, they're closed. The problem with this is the lack of accuracy. So you can't go in and try to get your order corrected. Just... bonkers stupid. So if you just 'have to have' Wendy's here, make sure to check your order BEFORE you leave the window.

This is one of those places that you wonder how higher-ups haven’t got involved in. I’ve always quite enjoyed the staff, but the hours are so sporadic, the food has been cold for the last three visits in a row, the produce is clearly not fresh, and there is no time where you don’t wait 15 minutes—tonight, I was idling for almost 30. Sometimes they close at 10, sometimes they close at 7. Sometimes they open at 8, sometimes they open at 10:30. It’s incredible how inconsistent one place can be.

Worst Wendy's I've been to. I don't really go to Wendy's or fast food in general anymore but was so hungry when passing it and was in a hurry so why not. I ordered one single burger so it would be a fast order. After arriving at our delivery destination, I bit into a basic chicken sandwich. The problem is, I ordered a big bacon cheese burger. Not good cause I was so hungry at this point, but mistakes happen. Upon arriving back at the Wendy's about an hour later I let them know of the issue and they gave me a new sandwich, the issue here is that they must have rushed it or been upset with the fact I was requesting the right item because the burger/bacon was partly cold...disgusting! The manager was the one who made it I believe, very unfortunate. I threw it away and got a sub.

Can I give less than one star. For starters, the manager is not manager material. Standing around on her phone. Not helping employees, not helping ensure orders are properly packed for orders, especially Door Dash. The staff... they are clearly unhappy, and have no motivation to do the job required of them. With every DoorDash order there is supposed to a receipt attached to the customers order, showing what was ordered. There were no bags labeled for my customers. The orders were missing multiple items. I had to go and make sure the customers had everything they ordered. This is the STAFFS responsibility, as well as mine. I shouldn't be doing the staffs job for them. The manager walked over repeatedly, and did nothing to help with the orders. The floor was disgusting where the prep area is. Equipment was out in the middle of the walkway, creating a major hazard. One wrong step, and someone would be burned by hot grease. Oh here's where it get's good. Fries that were sitting on the counter where they pack drive thru orders, were thrown back in the fry bin, where they scoop YOUR fries from. You have to have some sort of hope to catch a food born illness from this place to eat here. Staff is touching your food without gloves. If you don't end up with food poisoning I'd be shocked. I realize Maynard doesn't offer a lot in the fast food industry, but even McDonalds just down the road is 10x cleaner. Wendy's has really gone down hill, and the board of health should shut this place down.
