Sakura Express

It’s a nice little place, staff are very friendly, foods a bit on the pricy side. Salads was fresh, dumplings were good. The teriyaki steak was burnt though, 1/3 I tossed Bc it was too hard to chew. Also way too much wasabi for 4 pieces of sushi, can save some food cost there. Maybe the other entrees may turn out better

Heres the kids meal with "chicken". They could at least put chicken nuggets in the description. What a joke. Nothing but Gordon food service cheap nuggets that were hard a chewy. If we wanted nuggets we would have gone to a fast food joint. Not sure if we will be coming back. Seems to have significantly gone downhill after the Sakura change.

1st time in I got a few of the smaller, cheaper sushi rolls, quite good and 2 made a meal. 2nd time, I got the steak hibachi. Cooked perfectly, right amount of pink, slight chew, good tasting beef, good portion. Honestly surprised the beef was that good of quality and was cooked so perfectly, needed no sauce. Hats off to the chef. Fried rice was quite good but could use more egg (seems to be common issue with Japanese fried rice and my tastes being used to more egg like in Chinese fried rice). Definitely will be back!!!

This was probably the most expensive meal of my life. I should have known when the bag and the napkins in the bag were slightly wet that there was going to be a problem but I pulled the food out of the bag anyway. When I did, all the brown, sticky sauce spilled out of the sides because the lid wasn't properly closed. It went all over my pants and all over the new white seats of my car, plus other parts of my car as I threw the food out the door. I specifically asked for no teriyaki sauce for this reason and maybe it wasn't teriyaki sauce (just soy sauce?), but come on. Really? Anyway, I cleaned what I could but now I have the pleasure of driving home hungry, with wet and sticky clothes, and with thousands of dollars of damage to my vehicle (hopefully just hundreds if it doesn't require replacing the whole seat). This is probably the most worthy one star review I've ever written.
