Gentle Harvest

So many reasons to love this place! We stopped by on our drive through the town to pick up a quick bite to eat from the cafe and ended up staying. We were pleasantly surprised by all the healthy, unique grocery items, especially the dairy-free and vegan options. They even had an upstairs lounge complete with tables at which to eat, a playroom with toys for children, and a community library! Everything was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was amazing!!

The restaurant is amazing. The food was unbeatable. My family tried the ancient grain waffles, the egg wrap, and the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. All the food was spot on. The coffee, which is roasted by Lone Oak was on point. The food had about 20 minute wait time. Completely worth it. The pricing is fair to the point I will be making return visits. The lady that served us was so humble and polite. Fun lounge area for the kids. The grocery area was great. You won't find unbeatable prices, but you will find real, wholesome food.

It is an adorable little market with a cafe inside. They have a butcher & fresh organic meats, kits for making meals, natural pet foods, beer, wine, lots of fruits, veggies, bulk goods, pantry items, natural sodas... I didn't eat there at the cafe... but the menu looked good, especially the ice cream sodas..! It is a bit pricey but not many places have this quality of meats, veggies, & healthy foods in one place, so i didnt mind...

Great specialty grocery store. Excellent meat counter. Interesting cooking section. Wine safely secured in the old vault. Beautiful old belt driven ceiling fan. Originally an old bank. It has been extended into the next building and they appear to serve lunch. Perhaps we'll eat there next time we're in town. Bought some mild Italian pork sausage that was very good.

We love Gentle Harvest and the natural healthy food options they provide. Speaking as a mother of 2 boys we love the kids menu and the drive thru as its a life saver. Our favorite is the bone broth soup it's like a light ramen with nice refreshing toppings like ginger, spring onions. The should do a miso version with seaweed and sesame as I think it would sell well. The kids menu items are great for the value. The only thing I would recommend is that for the 2nd floor cafe area needs a few low tables as my kids love the play area but the high stools and tables are not kid friendly and we can't eat there and play at the same time which would be most convenient. But we love everything else about it! Great place to take kids for lunch!
