We ordered a variety of food from Rajesh Bhai and we couldn't have been more pleased. The menu had a wide range of dishes to choose from! We ordered the veg biryani, chili mogo, fried mogo, hakka noodles, mung bean salad, madu bhajiya, samosa, idli dhokla, samosas. We especially loved the East African touch to the menu. It really brought back memories from back home (Kenya). The food was extremely well done. The flavors, spices were just right! I appreciated the professional way that all the trays were neatly labelled. The cost of all the food we ordered was also justified by the quality of food we received. The order was ready in time during pick up and we couldn't have been more happier with Jalsa Kitchen. We will definitely be ordering from Jalsa Kitchen again and can't wait for the next occasion! In our opinion, Jalsa Kitchen is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very friendly service and the most amazing vegetarian cuisine in terms of variety on the menu and the tastiness. They are a caterer with a storefront and have daily specials The idli sambar is to die for, however you have to order in advance.

Had Jalsa Kitchen cater my family & friends Christmas event two weeks ago and all my guests were really happy with the food. The service was really easy from the start when I initially called up until delivery and the food was super flavourful - the Kala Chana and Samosas were my favourite. Went for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. It’s a bit of a drive from downtown, but off highway 404, so wasn’t to difficult to get to.
Very pleased with selection of snacks, fresh chapati and pickles.
There is a limited selection of spices - you don’t come here for bulk buying of Indian groceries. What they do have is quite good.
They also have a selection of cooked curries, etc that I hope to buy the next time I’m there.

Terrific vegetarian Indian food. Highly recommend their samosas. Well filled with mixed vegetables in a thin spring rolls type pastry. Lightly spiced and simply delicious.
