So lucky to have a traditional fish and chip shop in Markfield village. My last visit included lovely freshly cooked chips and curry sauce. Previous time a pie and chips - all tasty - and service was courteous and cheerful.
Worst fish and chips I’ve ever eaten. Walked in on a Friday night, no customer in there yet 4 fish , sausage etc sitting in the hot plate. Obviously not cooked fresh. Decided to order the cod which was cooked to order so had to wait 10 …
Excellent traditional fish and chips, large portions, and they also do good doner kebabs if you fancy something different!
Both me and my partner are regular customers. Not a bad word to say about the chippy food always hot/tasty and staff are always welcoming/friendly. The owner is a top geezer :D
Atmosphere is good, service is great and even the owner is very nice but the price to portion ratio of chips is really bad.
