Russo's

So in reading the review about the Trump sign i was hesitant to go because I just don't want to see political things out when i go out to dinner. This was only my 2nd time to go to a restaurant since they reopened due to the shutdown and the experience was just ok. We ordered the calamari with peppers and there was way more peppers than calamari and we started with martinis. Our drink server was Jose or as he put it "No way Jose" and honestly he was funny and we wished he was our waiter. Ok back to the review....we all got our meals which was Salmon and a chicken dish. We ate it all but I would say it was just ok but nothing that blew me away. I will say I was concerned that the tables were not properly spread to accommodate social distancing and from what i could see they operate in more than a 50 percent capacity. While the restaurant wasn't completely full since we went at 630pm they didn't have signs on empty tables indicating they were not available. I would say if you go and the restaurant is packed you might want to chose a safer option.

What a wonderful menu. My boyfriend and I came here to watch the sunset on the patio that overlooks the river. It happened to be happy hour, which is reasonably priced. We ordered the mussels in garlic white wine sauce and the sauteed the mushrooms and both were very good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy and romantic. Will definitely be back!

My family and I had a wonderful time today at Russo's. The food was delicious! The staff was attentive and friendly. They made my family and I feel welcome, especially when we are not accustomed to eating out and much less eating in a restaurant with their price range. I had budgeted for this special occasion to celebrate my husband's birthday, I do not regret it. Well worth it. Definitely recommend Russo's.

If the various Trump paraphernalia and “if that offends you, there’s the door” posters weren’t off-putting enough, the food is legitimately bad. There are just not a lot of dining options in this area, or we would have left when we walked in based on the vibe alone. We reluctantly elected to give it a shot based on the good reviews of the food, but, unfortunately I’m not sure I’ve had a worse meal at this price point. There was not one item that was served to our party of four that wasn’t from a can, a jar or prepared from frozen. The cocktail we ordered was made from fake lemon juice - undrinkable. The mussels were very fishy - obviously, not fresh. The steak was overcooked. Just not the quality of food or preparation that you would expect for this price level.

Really enjoy this restaurant! The food is amazing, every bit of it, and we've tried it all. Everyone is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is casual to elegant depending on the time and such. The only reason for not giving a five star is that the wait time for orders could be quicker and more accurate though they do try their best. Certainly give them a try!
