Rusty Taco

My wife loves this place for their shrimp tacos so decided to give it a try. It was... well in my opinion it was about 3 stars. Not amazing, not terrible. Just meh. The best part was the salsa Verde. I had the fish taco, the Philly and the rusty taco... none of them great. Kids equally not super impressed with their tacos. Wife tho was very happy and surely she will give a good review to offset this one.... it's like... you could tell they wanted to do something... but they just stopped short of doing it.

My wife and I have been coming here for quite a while now and had always had great experiences. Tonight was our first visit in a few months and I have to say, not what I remember it being. Prices have gone up and portions have gone down. In the past, we’d get tacos that would barely fit the tortilla shell, which I loved. Tonight, they were barely half filled. My wife got a crispy chicken taco as part of her order and she got one small strip. I had a bacon egg and cheese as part of my order and they gave it 3 small pieces of bacon. Also got the potato egg and cheese and the potatoes were very crunchy, almost as if they were stale or overdone or something (supposed to be light and fluffy pieces). Given the newer prices on the menu, it was a bit of “sticker shock” when they came over and got almost half of what is normally filled in the shells. We were the only ones in the restaurant as well, so it’s not like they were hurrying and trying to get an order out. It will likely be a while before we’re back again after this experience.

You will have to wait for your food even when scheduling ahead. Third time in a row online ordering an hour ahead for pickup and have to wait 15min or more past the scheduled time. They either don’t start online orders until you arrive or they’re just that behind. Great tacos but they just can’t do it on time and lack the processes for consistency.

Foods great, service is Terrible. Was'nt busy, ordered two tacos, chips and queso. After waiting 15 minutes someone came out from the kitchen and asked me if I I gotten my food yet ( I was the ONLY customer on the restaurant). And the. Went back and prepared my food. Guessing if he hadn't come out and asked or I complained I'd have never gotten it

Today I stopped into Rusty's and I am now addicted to this place. I never knew about it until one of my colleagues told me about it at work. I will always come here from now on. They have all sorts of taco's & breakfast tacos. Who doesn't want breakfast tacos for dinner??? I would recommend anyone come here. Be prepared for a busy line though because if how popular they are. Which is a plus!
