Cosi

The cashier/order taker seemed devoid of personality. Not only that, but my girlfriend told the woman taking our orders that she was celiac, or gluten intolerant. You wouldn't believe me if I told what the lady asked next, but I'll tell you anyways. She asks my girlfriend, "Oh ok, so do you want bread?" No, she wasn't kidding. If you work at a place that serves GF fare, you should know what that means. Some people are so truly gluten intolerant, that it can not only make them sick, but can eventually give them cancer. Ignorance is not bliss. Onto my food. I ordered a salad with chicken, forget the name, but it was sort of a southwest chicken salad with some salsa, chicken. Pretty standard. It had enough chicken to half fill a 5 yr old's stomach. I'm a grown man. For $10, it should have contained more chicken. It was overabundant with those white pieces of nearly inedible, tasteless pieces of lettuce, if you know what I'm talking about. Annoying. The coconut water I got, well... I forgot to order it originally with my meal, so I went up ordered that and a side of Italian dressing. It took 5 mins to get the dressing while standing at the counter. 5 MINUTES. For a tiny thing of dressing! We've gone to this locale about 3 times total. 3rd time wasn't a charm. Won't be returning.

Used to be wonderful & we were regular customers. Just finished our dinner via Doordash. All 4 of our orders were incorrect: 2 melts weren’t melted & not even lukewarm. My signature salad had no cheese & I didn’t get the flatbread side. Soup order also came without the flatbread side. One sandwich came without requested mayo. Had to call the store 5 times to get through to someone. The store’s Take out order line wasn’t even answered. They seem to have some serious problems. It’s going to be a long time before we dine or order there.

Used to be good, used to really enjoy the TBM sandwiches, tomato, basil and mozzarella with a balsamic sauce on their bread however for the price you pay I got 2 dinky pieces of tomato, a couple leaves of basil and barely any sauce. What a let down. For what you pay, it's not worth it. Come on Cosi, you used to be better than this.

Food quality has gone way downhill. I had a stale, yet undercooked flatbread pizza, my wife had a pretty pathetic looking sandwich, and my daughter's mac and cheese was just mush. Tables were dirty and booth seats ripped up, and finally they forgot stuff in my order and I had to go back and ask for it.

Every single time I order from Cosi for takeout they have never gotten my order right but, I still continue to eat there because of the excellent salads. A bit over priced. You never know if the bread is going to be warm, cold or even over cooked. I wouldn't recommend getting takeout unless you check your bags before you leave.

I work in the Mansfield crossing plaza, visit here quite often despite all of the issues I've had. The food has steadily gotten worse, almost always my order is incorrect, sometimes not edible. One day in particular the website was down for online ordering so I tried to call (approx 7 times) and found out after walking over that the employees took the phone off the hook so no calls could go through. Just today, a coworker and I were trying to order our dinners and the website is not working, so we tried to call, no answer, just got a voicemail? But the hours are listed as open til 8pm. We started calling at 4pm, still trying to call now at 5pm. Don't waste your time or money on this restaurant. It's a joke.

Not sure what Cosi all those people who gave it 5 star ate at, but our experience was anything but a total bust. i GAVE IT ONE STAR BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT TAKE 0 STARS AND MOVE ON. Waited in line for 4 minutes for two people ahead of us to order because only one person taking orders at lunch time. Got to counter, my turn. The phone rings and I get to wait again while a call in order gets preference to a customer that stands and waits in line. Ordered two flatbread sandwiches off the menu board and a full photo special (Chicken Parm flatbread) and 2 bottles of water - $21. Then sat and waited 30 minutes for the food. Even checked to make sure they were working on it. Both times told it was coming right out. Finally our food comes out and there was no cheese in the sandwich and it was basically warm flatbread with chopped cold chicken and cooked but cold sauce. The thirty minutes gave us time to notice how dirty it was and tables go from customer to customer with some never being cleaned between diners. That was my last time with COSI! TWO THUMBS DOWN!!!!
