Costa Vida

We have been coming to this locations for years. We drive 45 minutes to get here. We came on a Saturday, during a peak time. The restaurant was filthy, and the food was picked over and not fresh looking in anyway. They tried to serve us guacamole that was literally brown and black. The beans were so old they were dried out and disgusting looking. Most of the food containers were empty, and they were serving scraps of what was left. I am SO disappointed!!!! Please do better. We want you to stay in business!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and we weren’t disappointed! We arrived 30 minutes before closing time on a Monday night, and the freshness quality of the food was impressive! They make your order right in front of you—-so the process is transparent—-and you can customize your order as you progress down the line. Prices are very reasonable for the value and portion size you receive. I did think that the pricing was a little confusing on the menu, but just ask them if you’re confused and they’ll clarify it for you. Service was friendly. I also like how they have everything which you would need if you’re taking leftovers home available in the front near the fountain drink area, so you don’t have to bug somebody for to go lids/utensils, etc. I got a small nachos bowl for nine dollars, but I got very full and even the kids meal was pretty filling!! 😋

For consistency, quality and taste i would recommend going to the other locations. Hardly a meal for the price and it’s always a gamble. Not sure if it will be good or not edible at all, how many items will be missing or what will happen. $12 for photo - tortillas were tough, chicken in small ripped pieces with no flavor, guac had no flavor it was just like mashed avocado and not even an ounce of chicken weighed at home. Missing rice and beans, too. Going to have to order food elsewhere and take the loss. Also the only location that’s almost always upset my stomach - unsure why. Upon opening quality was much better, but now it’s just so inconsistent I am done gambling.
