Cholada

Very expensive, however the portion size is huge. We ordered yellow curry, fried rice, orange chicken and Thai iced tea. Yellow curry and fried rice were okay, but the orange chicken was not at all crispy. Not worth the price! If they could come up with smaller portion size options, it would be much better.

This is probably the best Thai food I've had in Los Angeles. The golden bags are the must try dish. They're crispy on the outside and chewy on warm on the inside. The pad thai was also fantastic. My friend got a curry and we really liked it as well. I definitely go back here to try more of the menu because everything seems to be good.

Friend and I went around 1:30 PM and were seated immediately. I ordered beef drunken noodles and my friend had the panang curry with chicken. His curry was extremely flavorful -- thick and rich -- and my noodles were a big portion and were also very good. In total, we paid about $45. The staff were wonderful and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this place and would return again.

Childhood favorite Thai place and still my favorite Thai restaurant in the U.S. Right on the coast in Malibu, the location of Cholada is fantastic and the food and service is even better. Ever since I was three years old my family has been eating here and it has always been lovely. The head chef and several other employees have always been there and never fail to greet us or make us feel welcome! The crab fried rice, golden bags and chicken sautéed appetizers, the papaya salad, and curry entrees are my favorites, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
