Sukhothai

This place was amazing! I wasn't expecting a lot, but saw it had lots of good reviews so decided to try it. I wasn't aware you needed to book and it was quite a busy night when I went there (something to keep in mind) but I'm glad they were able to squeeze me in. I got Pad Thai and it was delicious. I also got green curry and rice which were also beautiful. The portions are massive for the price. I didn't think I would find such a gem in little Maleny, but I'm glad I did. I'll definitely come back if I'm in town and will recommend.

Good menu, great decor, fantastic presentation, & authentic beautiful Thai food! As a group of 8, we ordered 6 different dishes with creamy coconut rice. The coconut rice is excellent - very fragrant & sweet; whilst the other dishes were all very tasty themselves! Notable ones were the duck curry, basil stir fry and fried fish w chilli sauce on the side. I know there are many other places to eat, but this place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Maleny! P.S - the staff there is lovely!!

Beautiful food and service! I see why the place almost has a 5-star rating ✔️ When I walked in I was greeted immediately by a friendly staff member who showed me to my table. Due to being quite booked they were very accomodating to find me a table as a walk-in diner. Another staff member took my food order. The entree came out after 5 minutes from ordering and the main about 10 minutes, which I was very impressed with given their endless stream of takeaway orders and seating guests. Despite the busyness, they made sure to send a smile my way and check in whether I was enjoying my meal! The portion size was incredibly generous and I was able to take-away my leftovers to savour for later! The curry puffs were delicious and the basil stir fry was so flavourful, exactly the spice level I ordered and was a hot temperature. Overall, a wonderful, affordable experience as a lover of Thai-food! I can’t wait to visit again during my travels ☺️

Absolutely delicious Thai food! They managed to fit us in to a table on a fully booked night that was also busy with takeaway. Thoroughly enjoyed each dish - the coconut prawns, satay chicken, beef massamun and stir fried noodles were cooked perfectly and so full of flavour. Will have to return next time I'm in town.
