Applebee's

We stopped by on our way home for an early dinner. The restaurant was short staffed and service took a bit longer than expected. No problem we understood and were cool with the wait. The food and drinks were hit and miss. The bartender did not know what a skinny margarita was and we decided to pass. The long Island was ok, but and took them a bit to make it, by the time we got it we almost did not want it. The chicken in the salad and the pasta were overcooked and dry. The steak and burger were okay and had to wait for onion rings since they forgot the request. Food was not worth the price, but we were hungry and was the closest place to stop by. Our server was nice and friendly and she was the host and the only server at the time. She did great handling the other 4 tables.

HORRIBLE!!!! We were seated right away when we walked in but waited 25 min before my son who is a KM at a restaurant went to ask the manager if we can get waited on. The manager looked at him and turned and walked away not saying a word just walked away. We watched the manager, bartender and sever walk from the kitchen and the server to our table. By this time we had been there 40 min. We ordered drinks mine was alcoholic and chips with guacamole, queso and salsa. My son and his fiance got their drinks and I didn't even get a water. Now we have been here 55 min and the appetizer comes out. I dip into the guacamole and it was So salty I had to spit it out. Than I taste the queso and same thing too salty to eat. So we keep looking at the waitress standing there on her phone and chit chatting with the bartender while my drink and others were sitting there ready to be taken to tables. She didn't even acknowledge us looking at her to come see the salt made us think they did it on purpose so We finally decide to just leave after an hour and ten minutes of being there.

Came here for late dinner, and left very happy and satisfied. Food and drinks were delicious. The most l enjoyed was the great service from our waitress she was very attentive and knowledgeable about menu options always making sure to give us the tips about the deals. Great job and my big ⭐ for this young and hardworking ladies. In general I enjoyed how the whole team was very well assembled and helped each other. I don't remember the name of our waitress but here is a picture... Will come back to see her when we visit the area again.

We were in Orlando for a medical appointment combined with sightseeing. We stayed for two nights in neighboring Maitland at the Homewood Suites with Applebee’s adjacent to the hotel. I ordered takeout each night. Each time I was given a specific pickup time: 4:33 and 4:52 which I appreciated. They are accustomed to curbside pickup and asked for make and model of the car. The order takers were friendly and efficient, repeating each order for accuracy and suggesting beverages as an upsell. We walked over each afternoon; the orders were waiting for us. This venue enjoys a brisk trade. It is conveniently located off of I-4 in an office building area. The food was plain but good: Grilled Chicken Breast with a small amount of broccoli and mashed potatoes and a Southwest Chicken Bowl which was generous but a little dry. We also ordered a Classic Dip Trio one night. The chips, while crispy, had an odd taste. If you are on a low sodium diet, don’t order this trio as the dips were quite salty. The Queso and Chips were better the next night. We substituted salsa for the too salty queso but were given both anyway. The salsa has a kick. For the convenience to the hotel and ease of ordering, I would order again.

I'd been working with a client nearby Applebee's and kept meaning to stop by and check it out, so finally on my last day in the neighborhood I did. Sorry to say I was not too impressed. For lunch, I just ordered nachos and a bowl of soup. "Beef or chicken?" I was asked. I hadn't noted chicken as an option on the menu, so I chose that just for something different. Mistake. The tomato basil soup was delicious. The nachos with chicken meat, not so delicious. Little tiny bits of "chicken" not much bigger than Bacos bacon bits lightly sprinkled over a pile of dry nachos. Dry is the key word here. The nachos seemed to have the usual... Chips, melted cheese, salsa... and chicken, but it was so dry. I didn't complain because saying my nachos were too dry, would sound strange. So I paid my 20 bucks for coke, soup and nachos and left. No one asked me how my lunch was (I would have told them). Not a very friendly place. Little to none attention by the waitress or staff. Dry nachos sprinkled with chicken bits. I probably won't go back.

Had a great meal and had a great time with friends. Came to this Applebee's last year it was still just as good we had a nice waitress she was very friendly and understanding the food was delicious I just remembered thank you Nana trying to get back to that Applebee's before I left but I never made it. We ain't outside on the deck and it was nice it was kind of funny but not too sunny and there was a cool breeze and of course we had our cool drinks. I will be looking forward to going back there next year or maybe sooner.
