If you walk into a cafe and see a Gaggia espresso machine, you know you’re in an authentic Italian cafe. Taking a further look around at the items for sale on its ceiling-high shelves cements that first impression.
This large cafe caters for purveyors of breakfast, brunch and lunch with a Mediterranean twist. They have an extensive menu to cater for all. In the fort time I was there I saw at least 2 families enter, sample and socialise. It has that relaxed, open atmosphere that is so inviting for social occasions.

This is a true authentic Italian cafe/restaurant experience. I've only had lunch there they have a diverse menu, including vegan and vegetarian options. We usually sit outside with our dog below the arches of the old market building and enjoy a bite and a beer while watching the people pass by.

I love this place. Friendly atmosphere, super clean, great coffee, and fabulous food. You can tell that a lot of time and effort has been put into the menu and into sourcing the ingredients. They turn a simple toasted sandwich into a culinary delight.

Popped in this cafe for lunch. The staff were very friendly and there was an excellent selection of vegetarian dishes. Soup of the day was hearty and filling, mozzarella was creamy and the bruschetta with gorgonzola was delicious. If I'm hungry and in Maidstone, I will be returning.

Vesuvius Cafe is a very Enjoyable Experience. The Staff are very Helpful, Kind, Polite and accommodating. The Atmosphere is Warm and Friendly. I sat outside when it was cold, and the Staff gave me a Blanket and Cushion to Keep me warm. I ordered a Cappuccino which was enjoyable. Altogether a very good experience. Well Worth A Visit.

Lovely evening drinks. The complimentary nobles were amazing. We even took our 2 year old. So nice to find somewhere we can go for drinks in the evening and our child is welcome. Staff are so friendly. We will definably be going back.

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning and were met with wonderful Italian hospitality and food. A fantastic selection of food and drink available and plenty of specials too! A proper authentic Italian experience. We shall be back to try out lunch and we can't wait! Highly recommended

Very good alternative to a heavy full English, my husband had a chease & ham rice ball.
Once you have tried this you will want to try all the different options.
Friendly service, a little taste of Naples, fresh home cooked food and take away... I'm in heaven!,,,,,
