Cool little joint! It was our nightly go to spot for the week. We're not from Madison but apparently it's a local hot spot with a cool history. Bartender said the owner was there a lot but out of town at the moment. Hate we didn't get to have a beer with him.🍻 Awesome atmosphere and the staff was friendly and attentive! If we ever make it back up from Georgia definitely will consume more beverages there!😆

It was just kind of a disappointing time for me. They were playing Hannah Montana music which kind of threw off my vibe. The “iconic” fish bow was mainly ice and Gatorade didn’t taste any alcohol. And for $16 for a smaller, watered down drink, I think I have a right to feel disappointed. The bouncers were nice though! Spent the rest of my night at state street brats instead!

Classic college bar, but fine place for drinks during the day. Downstairs and upstairs areas. Fine drink prices and specials. Bartender was a little distant despite a small crowd, but the other staff members were friendly. Good place to watch a game. Haven't heard many good things about the night life, but have not had motivation to come back and experience it myself. Overall, it's okay during the day, but I wouldn't stay here too long.

2nd time in 5 years tonight and I have to say Wando's is not what it was food-wise. There are better places.

Great service and UNDERRATED FOOD. the food and drink menu is very extensive. The best college sports atmosphere downtown. The staff is friendly, run a tight ship, and are engaging and have quick service compared to the other bars in the area. Family friendly on the first two floors, and a dance floor on the third. Wandos has something for everyone. Nora is the best bartender.

My husband and I happened by on a recent visit to Madison. It was obvious we are not their target demographic, but it was interesting. The woman behind the bar was not a mixologist - not even close. We had a quick drink that she made with much guidance and left.
