Nu-way Weiners

The staff was super friendly but that was about the only positive. Husband enjoyed his food but I did not. It just wasn't my thing I guess. The chili is very finely ground and looks off putting and does not really have a flavor to it. The slaw has good flavor but is also pulverized so it's almost just liquid. I ordered onion rings but they gave me fries instead. Fries are fine, nothing special. The sweet tea is just sugar water. Wanted to try the place because apparently it's a Macon thing but I won't be returning.

Although all the Nu-Way’s have the same food, this location and 1215 Russell PKWY have the best staff. There are unlimited drink refills when dining in and they don’t shut down the Malt machine early in anticipation of getting off from work asap like the Zebulon Road location. They are very polite when you call or visit as well, unlike the Zebulon location.

On my way to work I decided to stop here and give a try! So glad I did! The breakfast toasted sandwich bacon, egg and cheese was melting right in my mouth! The bacon is thick and savory, for the price $4.14 for a sandwich is reasonable! I will definitely be coming back! Also Deameatrice was super friendly and efficient on taking my order!

I don't know what to say. I first visited this exact location 6 years ago. Since I was on a road using the memory of my last I just had to stop at Nu-Way. My memory let me down or the restaurant did at this time I don't know who to blame. In the past I would given 4 or 5 stars but now I am Struggling to give it two stars.
