Silver Spoon

These Thai restaurants are like Mexican restaurants lots of “average meals” but Silver Spoon is good. Service is good too but nothing remarkable. 6/10. There are a suspicious amount of bad reviews that also relate to food poisoning but I felt fine. I believe they have also redone the menu compared to the current ones in google maps.

We needed a last minute wedding venue. I went there for more than a restaurant, but if you're just looking for a great Thai restaurant, they're excellent. The ambiance is nice: a giant fish tank, a decorated piano stage, and nice big classic booths. The food is typical thai food, and the staff are very helpful. Generally the place is pretty quiet. They have a separate bar area they can close off for events. We were already just thankful to have found a place at all, but we walked in on the day of, and had all our expectations exceeded. We found they had prepared a nice continuous long table for the party complete with some lovely bouquets in vases and a very clean looking white linen. Mountains of thai food was an easy win amongst our really picky guests, everybody loved the food. The thai iced coffees satisfied all the coffee drinkers who usually would argue over drip vs espresso. The calamari was a last minute addition but really excited a few people. The staff working that night were going non stop the whole night, and made sure any little thing we wanted happened. After all that hard work, they didn't even want us to tip above the built in (small) gratuity amount, but we did anyways. They really went the extra mile for us, and we could not have asked for a better venue. Everybody loved the event and had a great time. Thank you so much!!!!! 💕🤵‍♂️👰‍♀❤

The service was poor, he barely inter reacted, the food was disgusting. The noodle in the chicken soup where over cooked and falling apart, tasted old. The eggplant with the calamari was a disaster, the vegetable over cooked and the calamari tough. I dint want sent everything back because I was with guest… everything went in the garbage as soon as I got home…..

The food is okay, and the people are horrible. The service was never the best but lately they are too cocky to even try. During the snowstorm, I placed a phone order and went to pick it up. When I got home the order was wrong. I called to complain, and they said they will fix and to come over. Keep in mind road conditions were rough but my family was crazing this food, so I went to pick up the correct order. I get there and the host claims that she didn't ask me to come over and that the food was ready, but I had to pay for it. I was so mad that i just left. I called them again to remove my tip of a generous $10. This will be the last time I ever go there. They are full of themselves and feel like us customers should be grateful. THEY ARE LOSERS AND HOPE THIS REVIEW DISCOURAGES YOU FROM EVER GOING.

Silver Spoon is a family favorite going back many years. True Isarn style dishes (my step mom is Thai) with popping flavors, reasonable portions, fair prices and friendly service. Their peanut sauce is the best, with great consistency and flavor. Not too pasty or watery. Their dishes trend on the hotter side, so 2 stars here is like 4 other places and we love it hot. You've been warned! The decor is fantastic and the fish tank is filled with colorful, tropical fish 🐠 not just the Dory specials either!
