A hyped place for having a chatt and that is also their world-famous basket chat. This basket is made from some besan material and chatt is placed right inside it. Quite an expensive one with one basket worth Rs 250. Only self-service is there and one may have to stand right on the footpath. A one-time recommended place for having one basket chatt.

Best place to visit in lucknow If your are foodie...very good staff there services are really good. And it was famous for there chat...I really like to recommend to every body to try there chat vairety...also it was located in very nice place which is called hazaratganj...very good place to shopping and hangout purpose...but,the royal Cafe taste is very good..you can visit with your friends and family...sometime they start changing there food vairety as per Indian festival...like in Navratri they also offer you to fasting food, so it was really good to all people in fasting.

This is truly a royal restaurant. The restaurant is located in a prime area. All chats are located at the entrance of the restaurant which are really appetizing. The restaurant has two floors and both the floor have a great ambience. The food is really amazing. We went for dinner and tried some vegetarian options. The spinach soup had small paneer and carrot bits which added to the taste of the soup. The vegetarian assorted kebab platter had all the kebabs they prepare and came in a very good presentation. The tandoori breads were extremely fresh and had a good taste. They are worth trying. They add food color to paneer butter masala to bring out that bright orange-red color, but the taste and consistency was on spot. The veg kofta gravy was good and mildly spicy as requested. Overall the food was a solid 9/10. The service was also on spot as they suggest which one to try and they serve all food on your plate as well. They were very courteous. But they do expect some tips at the end when you are paying. Having said all these, I would recommend this restaurant only if you are ready to pay high cost. They use their image that many celebrities come to Royal Cafe.
