Extremely unprofessional staff that escalated a minute and insignificant scenario, resulting in a ruined night for a family. Do not go to this location if you have a party of mixed ages as they are quick to throw out accusations without proof. Staff members are quick to accuse and helicopter around customers when the effort could go into improving their services.

Not really good. The fish tacos were okay. Tortilla wasn’t that fresh and too little fish in the taco.
Also next to a very loud table. The fact that management didn’t come say anything to them on a chill afternoon.
There’s way better Tex mex out there.

My business partner and I had a minute so we popped in to see what all the fuss is about. Well, it was mid afternoon so it wasn't too crazy busy. We ordered the "beef" nachos (hb meat, beans, cheese) and we're pleasantly surprised how good they were. They gave us sour cream for free99, my best kind of price! Music was on pont with some 80's tunes. I'll be back to try their green Chile burger so hang tight for that review. CHEERS!!

Chimys has a wonderful atmosphere with an amazing staff. Food is very good, especially those fries. Drinks are always good, and you haven't been to Chimys without getting one of their margs!

Fun place to snack and have Margaritas. Can become very lively toward the end of the week. Everyone who visits Lubbock should go at least once. It does get packed and lines could get to be one in one out and tends to get worse when people are entering through side and/or back doors "because they know people".

We were in a pinch for time, so we veered off the beaten path to grab a late lunch. I really liked the beef, bean, and cheese nachos...plenty of food to feed 2.
