Dows Soda Fountain

Honestly I haven’t even been able to make it inside doesn’t matter what time I come 1 o’clock 4 o’clock or even 6 o’clock I’ve called numerous times and only gotten the answering machine that specifies the times that they’re open also their website says that they were open and the last review was just two days ago I don’t know I’ve seen pictures and I thought that I would be the cutest place to bring my children but I can’t even get inside I don’t know how well of a place it can be if I can’t even get in contact with anybody

Hard to get to, no old fashioned ambiance. It is on the 4th floor of a great old building, but the soda fountain really lacks any character. No kids eagerly getting their ice cream, very few patrons at all. I asked the person at the counter if she knew how to make a chocolate ice cream soda. I got a side eye and she said yes. I got a glass with coke a cola and chocolate syrup. Disgusting, too. The coke was flat. No ice cream! A real ice cream chocolate soda is made with club soda. Three of us sat at the one table, waiting for service that never came. Finally sat at the soda bar and still waited until we finally said something to the clerk, who was clearly not busy because no one else was in the shop. Edit- of course I was in the right place. Do you not recognize your own location in the description? Some kind of cola was used to make a chocolate soda. Who cares if it was coke or Pepsi or even RC. The fact is, the soda was flat and had no ice cream, which is what I ordered and very explicitly explained to the haughty clerk, who could have cared less that we were even there to purchase something.
