Texas Roadhouse

I ordered the rib-eye steak there and it was well cooked and seasoned, just like any other restaurant it’s also loud by a lot of crowds talking at the same time which it’s a headache. I don’t recommend the catfish because it takes cheap and it has an overwhelming fishy flavor. They have other good food but any food that’s involved with fish I’d stay away from.

Saturday night 5pm: packed, a 40 minute wait. Well worth it: out of all 6 meals / 12 sides, nobody had a bad bite, and quite the opposite, everything was delicious. I got the 6 oz sirloin & ribs combo. I ordered my steak medium rare cause I'm smart, and got a slightly over medium, but it was a thick steak in the style of a filet, and they're always hard to get perfect. For a cheap cut of meat, they seasoned it perfectly, it was amazing. The ribs did indeed fall off the bone, but also weren't mushy, they were perfect as well. I wasn't expecting the steak cut fries to be anything special, but I couldn't believe how good the seasoning was on them, & my brother asked for one and he was mind blown as well. Our waiter was great, I mean always asking if we needed anything: super attentive!!! This is definitely a 5 star joint, but it's no secret, and so maybe we should have made reservations after all, cause oops.

I've always loved Texas Roadhouse. Great place to go with something for everyone. This trip was marred by the unpleasant bad steak. The fried sirloin was full of gristle and after spitting out 7 pieces, I stopped. The taste was good but quality of the meat left a lot to be desired. The manager was apologetic and offered to fixed another but I had finished my sides which were good by that time. I don't like to be a problem at a restaurant. It is an uncomfortable position to be in. They provided a discount off my meal which I appreciated. Overall, Texas Roadhouse is a very affordable place with great food.
