Extraordinary food and wines from a local restaurant. The service was some of the best and most knowledgable I have ever experienced. The environment is intimate and perfect for dinner for 2. Small plates so it is totally possible to order almost everything from the short and seasonal menu, and it feels like you are having a tasting menu from a michelin starred restaurant. I can't praise the food enough and had several extraordinary meals here. Sadly it seems they have closed but I wish them well and hope they can move somewhere that will give them more business. Location wasn't right sadly. Move a few roads west into Islington and this would be a done deal. I hope they manage to continue.

Absolutely superb! This is my new local - great choice of bio-dynamic wines and top quality small plates. I am now absolutely hooked on the gougères, which are sublime. Staff are very knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. This place feels comfortable and welcoming and is a great choice for date night or a catch-up with friends.

Amazing food and gorgeous decor. There's an island table for groups, but designed mostly for couples. The tapas are all a decent size, with lots of variety across fish, meet, and vegetarian options. The wine list is great, with everything also available by the glass. The service was a bit slow and we had to re-ask for one of the plates they forgot, but overall a good experience.

Really amazing place. It’s the perfect size, intimate & cozy, whilst feeling airy. Delicious exciting food and wines - interesting and new whilst being relaxed. Perfect for a date or a small group of friends. Fast becoming a favourite of mine. I even went once in my own for an early dinner. Always gets it just right.

Friendly staff, beautiful setting and lovely food. The wine menue is amazing and good value. Loved the fact that they have a handwritten “wine by the bottle book” next to the regular wine menue, feels very personal, great selection. Food is high quality and executed to perfection with distinct tastes, sending your taste buds and visuals on a rather pleasant trip.
