I want to say thanks to Chatica, specifically to Gloria, who made my Christmas very special. I ordered tamales and they were delicious. They were sent from London to New Milton and arrived in perfect condition. Many thanks Gloria.
Before Christmas, I visited Chatica to buy ingredients for my Venezuelan Christmas dinner. The place is modest and has a Colombian vibe. The shop was clean, and the prices were reasonable, except for the cheese, which I found a bit pricey …
It looks OK and has some delicious looking items, but there was very little information about them on display. The person serving behind the counter didn't speak much English, so I couldn't even ask him what the items were. Bought a chicken …
Colourful and welcoming Mexican shop/cafe beneath one of the train arches of Elephant & Castle station (and close to the tube). Good selection of inexpensive and tasty food, much of which is homemade. I would definitely visit again if I was in the atea and I suspect it is much-used by locals from the steady stream of customers.
Very beautiful place,clean and welcome. Empanadas delicious and they cook when you order .

Loved it! We had empanadas and pan de bono! I can’t wait to go back and try more options! As a vegetarian, I felt I had options, and for my husband who’s a coeliac also had some options.
