Great experience and very good value 4-course meal. Appreciated the nice wine list and beautiful handmade ceramics too. Impressed by the speed and quality considering all cooking and service was done by the chef-owner herself. Very happy for £29 for four inventive courses and high quality food, plus drinks.

Booked based on a recommendation from a friend. Food, ambience and drinks were all a delight. We had the wine pairing and the tempura sardines in addition to the fixed menu. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly and charming which is unreal considering the owner does it all!? My favourite was probably the Mac & cheese croquettes. I’m not usually a dessert person and that was absolutely fantastic too. Imogen’s favourite was the salmon sashimi which was “so good” and also the chilled Margaret river red wine. Very reasonably priced and outstanding quality. Oh, most importantly - they sell VB?! A must visit for any Australian.

Really cool place It’s just the owner doing everything, cooking the food, pouring drinks, tending to tables. She handled everything really well though, all courses were served quickly. The service was fantastic too, it’s a set menu but I contacted her beforehand about dietary restrictions and she accommodated them expertly!

Had not been to Wander since before the pandemic but had followed all the many many stressful and challenging times. How great to return to find the same fabulous food, prepared with such care and thought - all dishes varied and interesting and presented beautifully too. Great to be back and huge thank you. Atmosphere usually 5star as well but we were there very early so missed the buzz of a full dining room.
