7-eleven

We stopped in on a busy Saturday morning. Lots of traffic in/out of the store. In the few minutes I waited for my son to choose what he wanted, I watched the counter person (not sure if she's a manager or other staff) interact with maybe 5 other customers, including some who made "special" requests such as large orders of hot food. She was cracking jokes with people, suggesting other things they could buy, asking for their feedback on the products they chose and on the store, etc. It was like watching a small business owner engage her local clientele, even though this is a huge corporation seen worldwide. So I guess with this location you get the best of both: Good supply chain and pricing, plus good customer service. Anyway, it's just a 7-Eleven, so I'm surprised I'm writing this much. She obviously made a good impression today.

Decent gig they got going on here. Good food that questionable origins and staff that is helpful with suggestions. Though often these suggestions lead me to getting new plumbing about every two weeks, due to the explosive chemical reactions caused by the wonderful products provided. Parking lot next to the place is a strange, always something to see there and sometimes puppies. I think it's a thoughtful addition to the store, the puppies and all. All in all a great stop n shop that is fit to meet the needs of everyone, and is keeping the plumbers busy here in Logan.
