Worst Subway on the face of this planet.
1. Ordered 3 subs and went to pay using a coupon and was informed they don't take coupons; not a participating store! So what would of been $17.99 +tax was right about $30 because my fiance didn't want to be as rude and just leave the food.
2. The sandwiches were practically inedible. (See pictures! )
The bread was rock hard! Was not asked if we wanted them toasted even! It was chicken, and so she threw the whole thing in the toaster instead of just the chicken to be heated.
3. Spoke so softly it was nearly impossible to hear her at all. Had to ask her to repeat what she said 10x at least. If you cannot speak up & clearly you should not be dealing with customers orders!
4. Bad veggies. Spinach and lettuce were brown, and tomato tasted rotten. Had to spit out the tomato after I took a bite of it that was hanging out of the sandwich.
5. The bread was cooked into a canoe shape, so all of the veggies were popping out. No matter how much i squeezed the bread would not tighten against the veggies without the bread cracking into tiny bits. I eventually took the bread off the top and tried to eat it like an open face sandwich.
Was a complete disaster! I ended up picking off some of the veggies and the chicken, and that was what I ate.
6. The steak sandwich was even worse than the chicken. It was ROCK HARD, and the steak was so overcooked it was like a paté and very little of it. (See pictures! )
Please read the more recent Google reviews from this location in Lockport, Illinois. Mostly 1 star, which they don't even deserve that.
Tried calling to speak to a manager, and nobody answered.
I tried calling corporate, and they have gone to an online complaint system only. That's laughable when reviews on Google say they don't ever hear from corporate after going through subway.com/ contact us link.
I tried calling again at night and still no answer!
THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE!
I will never go to the Lockport, IL Subway again.
To the owner, do better or continue to lose business.
When a woman in line heard you don't take coupons, she also turned around and walked out. Which is what I wish my fiance had done also.

Sam is easily one of the absolute worst employees I've ever seen working at a restaurant, full stop. I've gone multiple times, and every single time he shakes his head at anyone entering the store. His body language and tone of voice are terrible, and make me genuinely uncomfortable to be around him, let alone have to stand there and watch him make the food, while he slams everything down onto the makeline, mumbling to himself.
One of the absolute worst subways I've ever been to, and it's only because of this employee. I would not recommend it at this current time, simply so you don't have to interact with Sam.

Walked in to see 4 people waiting on their orders. The guy behind the counter wasn't setting any land speed records or anything. He cut someone's bread and then went to the back. He came back a minute later chewing something and a piece of food dangling from his beard. Without delay, he went right back to prepping someone's order. I didn't stay long enough to find out if his lunch made it into someone else's.
Absolutely disgusting. Another Subway franchise could open up and totally clean up if they cared about the food and the customer.
If I could give negative stars, I'd do it.

Who bothered to rate this location more than 1* on any metric? Clearly Sam is a whiny toothless nightmare of an employee who looks all at once like everything that could go wrong in one's life after 50. I got major underfunded school vibes from the broken drink machine, subpar food, and Sam's attitude. Why didn't I read the recent reviews before wasting my money coming here???

This place doesnt deserve even 1 star. Sam is by far the worst employee I've ever seen. He complains when customers walk in like its an inconvenience for him to do his job. He only does 1 sandwhich at a time and could care less about any line or people waiting. Absolutely the worst Subway experience I've ever had. I will never return to this place. What a waste of time..

Do not waste your time coming here and do not order online! I placed an order online at 5:00, it said they were ready at 5:25. I went to pick up and they weren't even started yet. The man who was working was obviously hating life and his job. I had to leave to get my daughter so I told him I'd be back.i came back at 6 and they still didn't start them!!

Yo it’s just a regular subway but bro what tf is up with Sam? The worker he shakes his head whenever someone enters the store. We weren’t customers we were inconveniencing them. I asked for extra mayo and this dude put a whole mountain. His body language was horrible he was lazy and slamming down the stuff. At the end of the day, don’t go to this Subway.
