Tried to pop in for a drink on a Wednesday in July but it was closed. Plenty of tourists around in Llangollen and other bars were doing good business. I didn't want to leave a 1* review and drag the pub down further, but it's pretty shabby, …
Ignore my last review, after speaking with the staff, they apologised sincerely and were very pleasant. The pub is welcoming, with great people and a lovely atmosphere. I now strongly recommend visiting!
A proper pub the way it should be. Decent beer selection well kept. Open pretty late on Fridays and Saturdays. Regular live music and open mic nights.
