The salt and pepper fish and chips absolutely slaps. The gaff looks clean and the bossman is very friendly. Caveat: the only fish+chips I have had since moving to Liverpool, however I am not a stranger to the cuisine. Since finding this place I have little incentive to go anywhere else.

I can see why this place has a 5.0 star rating. This is the best fish and chip you will ever eat. The food was just absolutely amazing, perfect seasoning and texture. The price was so reasonable, the place was neat and tidy, the owner was so nice and warming to all the customers. It was like 30 minutes by bus, but definitely worth it. I will definitely come again. 10/10 everything just on spot. Job well done!

This is just amazing… I found this shop when I was on a bus ride and this is almost the first time i am leaving a review.

Fish and chips+vinegar was soooooo good. I think i might be the only one who had wonton soup but I can say that it is soo good as well.
No bad smell, chips crisp, amazing amout of food and this is a blessing cuz it tastes good.
The guy is kind and helpful.
The shop is clean, tidy.
Some vegan options exist as well!
Many saauces.
This shop need to be a unesco heritage

Salt and vinegar is the best takeaway in the area! The owner is super nice and friendly, and the food is delicious (the chips are great and the portions of rice-based dishes are very generous), and everything is ready quite fast.
Since we moved to the area and discovered it wouldn't go to any other place for this type of food. Definitely recommend :)

Was able to stop there while on vacation. Amazing fish and chips…it was GIANT, well worth the price. Had a chance to watch the owner work his magic with us and several locals that stopped in that he called by name. Stop by and support if you are in Liverpool.

Love this chippy! Been my local since I moved to the area a few months ago
The food is always immaculate, fresh and hot and the chippy itself is always spotless
I would love to shout out to the owner too, he always makes an extra effort to chat to me and my partner whenever we go in and always leaves us smiling and feeling very welcoming. He works very hard and honestly he’s such a good man!
Great chippy, will be back soon for our weekly meals 😋

Only went for chips and curry sauce and it was really nice. The curry sauce was little spicy but the chips were fresh and crispy. The place was really clean. They only take cash.
