Panera Bread

Let me preface by saying that we like Panera. Just not this Panera. The employees are clearly not having a good time. The restaurant was empty at 6pm on a Thursday night. It was still chaos behind the counter despite have 3x as many employees as customers on site. What I ordered vs. what I received..... and this 1/2 "sandwich" cost $6.00. The whole scenario is just sad.

I went to Panera bread on Tuesday (3-15-2022) to meet with a good friend, I got a strawberry banana smoothie. It was the BEST smoothie I have ever had. the way it tasted when it hit your taste buds was like a firework going off it was smooth with no lumps and the banana didn't over power the taste of the strawberry. the customer service was phenomenal they were super kind even though they were busy. also even though there are not a restaurant they sill came to the table and asked if we needed anything. I would give it a 5/5 and definitely recommend trying the strawberry banana smoothie.

Before 2020 I loved Panera. I would get take out once every two weeks for one reason or another. After 2020 I was understanding that the supply chain was limited and staffing was challenging. I hadn’t ordered Panera in a year and gave it a try tonight. The saying ‘the more things change the more they stay the same’ is true. My order didn’t come with my soup and my salad is all toppings, very little lettuce. I called to get a refund on the soup and was promised the manager would do it, but could not be bothered to do it while I waited. When I went in to pick up my food there were only 3 customers in the store, they weren’t busy. Simply miss managed.

Enjoyed a delightful breakfast wrap that was a decent serving size. It cost $6, so on the pricey side, but it was well made and not skimpy. Ordered an Americano, for $2.60, but I would've ordered the self-pump coffee, instead, had I realized it was an option. The menu on the wall, behind the cashier, didn't make it clear that it was an option and I didn't see the coffee dispensers until after ordering.
