Applebee's

We went out to dinner Memorial Day for dinner. The restaurant was busy due to the holiday. We were seated promptly and our orders were taken. My dinner was delicious, unfortunately my husbands arrived cold. Our waiter was amazing. They did everything right to correct the situation. Our meal was followed up by a quick visit by a manager to make sure we were happy. Thank you for going the extra mile to make our night a pleasant experience. You guys really made a great impression.

The margarita was good. My experience at Applebee's has been to order your steak more cooked than you actually want so you get what you really want. My last visit I ordered my steak medium rare and got rare so... This time I ordered my steak medium. It was medium rare and tasted good but the mashed potatoes and broccoli where stone cold. The server took my plate back to get hot food. Everything was microwaved so it came back hot but now my steak was well done. It still tasted good but not as good as when it first came out. Honestly, if I wanted microwaved food I would have gotten a banquet frozen dinner from the store and paid a fraction of the price. I took the rest of the meal home and let my husband have it because he likes his steak well done. To give perspective on the quality of the food my husband asked if it was from the store deli. Just saying.

Off day for not being busy. Service, though very pleasant and polite, was sporadically mixed, meaning sometimes inattentive. Kitchen screwed up order. Apologized and made it right, but that meant more delay. Lemonade was weak, watery. For a typically 5-star place and experience, like I said, off day. Food (only appetizers) managed to still be mostly good, though chicken wings were over-cooked, breading hard. We'll go back because we love Applebee's. We've just come to expect way better.

We really like Applebee's. We frequent this chain everywhere we go. We were in last night after the Jeff Foxworthy show just for a drink and something quick to eat. We had ordered that big plate of the appetizers. Well we had noticed the people coming in way after we did had been getting their food ahead of us. Our waitress had finally noticed this and went to check on our appetizer plate. She brought it out without any apology or excuse as to why it was so late getting to us. So we started eating and as soon as I got the artichoke dip and chips in mouth,....omg the dip was super super HOT!!! I actually have 1st degree burns in my mouth and on my tongue!! I did not realize it until this morning. We weren't warned that it could be hot or anything. Not sure what was going on there.

Family celebration of four. My mom's chicken sandwich was really tough. French fries with two meals were cold and stale. Breaded fish was soggy. Waiter was also bartender, took our order and that's the most we saw of him. We put our empty cups at the end of the table, he walked by without a word. When another server brought our meals, she asked if we needed refills. He comes over and says, "yeah, I was working on that". He wasn't. When we were eating, he said, "everyone alright?" as he walked by quickly. Didn't even look at us. Never going back. Don't go here if you want a good restaurant experience.

When they first opened in Lewiston Idaho you could count on the same great food everytime you went. Now not to much. We asked for a Cesar salad and got a pile of uncut lettuce with way to much dressing, so much that we both had bites and gave up. waiter guy looked at the full plate of gooey lettuce and did not even ask if it was good!? Steaks were ok mashed garlic good I had 1 mixed drink and he had an ice tea we were shocked to spend 80.00 at least we thought they would get top gun movie tickets but we never get anything for eating there a lot. Times A Changing....
