Lakeside Resuarant

AmazIng chai latte at this place, rivals many tha to have previously. It was a little busy but this place tends to be popular a lot of the time. It was a little wet but had a lot of people tracking in ice etc from the surrounding walks. A great place to stop off after or before a nice long walk around the various scenic locations. Staff were also super helpful and allowed us an extra chair to seat our family. Looking forward to returning to such a lovely decorated cafe.

Good view however I wasn't too happy with the halloumi tower burger which is misrepresented - on basis of its name and price. Also the staff mentioned to being the most filling burger - which is was not - please see pictures for what was sold for 12 to 15 pounds, which was extremely dissapointing.When mentioned it to the staff, one staff rolled her eyes and the other said to feedback and took no further action. Staff in general are nice however for the price paid it is a gross disappointment. Quite possibly will not visit again until this is sorted. Edit - after speaking with their staff on facebook this had been sorted with a full refund - issue may have been general communication from the staff, hence I am open to coming back and to determine (and hope) this being an isolated incident. Without having ordered the tower burger perhaps this would have been avoided. All in all I am happy with the resolution- may be better to have such resolutions on the spot to avoid this. best wei

Meet here with a friend, on a Tuesday at 3pm. The place was pretty busy. I had to wait 1-2 minutes until the staff solved the family who was in front of me, they had someone with disability and a pram. The staff moved tables around to make space for them, I liked that. I had a coffee, brownie and a water, they brought the items to the table in 2-3 minutes, friendly service as well, polite staff. They accept card payment, contactless 👏. You can sit outside, if you don’t mind the sun, it is a nice view. Reading through the other reviews, I think is just about everyone personal experience, mine was very good, definitely I will return.
