Casa

It was a brick night when I hopped into that cab, but Luigi got me home safe. I needed to get home, but I work the typa job that follows you till it’s finished. I closed the blinds and turned to my work, I didn’t want them city geese looking over my shoulder. I lit a smoke and fell into my desk chair. I don’t believe in miracles, never have. But tonight that changed. Both my hunger for this case to be solved and my hunger for sustenance would be resolved in a few short hours. Staring at my case and nothing was staring back, I decide to work out what this sun’uva’guns eating tonight. I was gonna go for pie but last week I hadda run in with some geese in Gotham wanting too much schmear. That’s when it hit me. Why didn’t I see that before. I needed a case that was already wrapped up for me. That’s what I really needed to put some cheese into. I had sat around for too long now, turned into a real thirstbucket. So I got on just eat. Intending to do just that. Got myself and some pals a quesadilla to share. And a couple burritos here and there. Didn’t feel no geese out to take it there.
