The Range Steakhouse

Service, as usual, was first rate. We ordered Caesar salad, lobster bisque, scampi and crab cakes. But something seriously sad has happened to the food. We've been here numerous times over the years but, unfortunately, this visit could have easily been skipped. Prices have increased everywhere, simply a sign of the times and global circumstances. But, when the quality of options offered and the food itself decline as prices increase, it may be time to move on. To be perfectly clear, the food we ordered was prepared (& served) as well as it could be given the limitations. It is the menu offerings and the quality of the ingredients used that are at issue. The 4th star on this rating is due to wait staff service only. Otherwise only 3 generous stars would have been given. We will try again on our next visit and hope for improvement because we really have enjoyed this restaurant up to this point.

I felt this was highly overrated and overpriced. I went in with an open mind however, whether they weren’t interested in serving a party of one or are just overpriced, I don’t think was worth the money. The waiter and support service was excellent; my waiter went out of his way to be gracious and acknowledge some issues-truly great. Shrimp cocktail -4 decent size shrimp, however when you get it as an add on, you get 2 1/2 size shrimp? Dirty Martini-says blue cheese olives -you get 1 little reg salad olive. Manhattan -mostly ice. Steak -ordered medium- came out raw-even waiter agreed. $70 NY strip -outback $25 actually better taste. No beers listed on drink menu; maybe they have. Not to many options at Harrahs but you may be better off heading to another place.

Best part of the meal was the baked potato. Steak was bland no flavor at all. My wife was served a drink in a cracked glass, we told Jorge the waiter he quickly removed the glass and returned with a new one. We tried discussing the cracked glass issue with the management to which they simply replied there was no cracked glass and straight called us liars. I will never return to the range and I would never recommend any one to go there

It was a lovely visit... our server Brandy & wait staff Damien was attentive and fantastic thank you for the dinner suggestions - our dinner was delectable my prime rib was cooked to perfection and the lobster macaroni & cheese was awesome!!! The atmosphere was very romantic and I'm in love with the Caposaldo Peach 🍑 Moscato 😍

This restaurants food selection was top notch! Everything was prepared perfectly, and presentation was very appealing. Reservations in advance is HIGHLY recommended, especially on the weekends. I made mine 2 days in advance via the OPEN TABLE link. It fills up quickly! Customer service is good although the host could've been a bit more friendly. Nick and Damien were my food servers and were very friendly, polite and attentive, especially Nick. Prices are on the higher end, but you get what you paid for! Quality food and service!

My husband and I shared all the food except for the Salmon. We shared the bread. We shared the Lobster bisque, we shared his ribye, and we shared the cookie with ice cream. We were both vomiting all night long. He also had the runs all night long. Definitely something was no good. We didn't taste it, but we were very sick the entire night. We had ZERO alcohol. I hardly drink. He drinks once a year so it WAS NOT alcohol. Definitely will not come back.
